I really enjoyed the talk last night. We'll type up some highlights over the weekend
Video set to start at Jordan Hasay part
"Well, both those athletes are tremendously talented and I think it was one of you guys that coined the term 'talent never goes away'.
And I think with both those athletes, they're very passionate about running and running brings a lot of joy to their lives. Sometimes when you see an athlete fall away, it's just that running just doesn't really bring the joy, the happiness (to them). Whereas for them, they've surrounded themselves by just really good people. And they've just really loved the sport and they love to be around it and they love to train and and they're just incredibly positive people.
Will they both make it back? Absolutely. Yes. 100 percent. Cause I see what they're doing. I see that the joy and the love that they have, and they're both actually really very healthy.
Every athlete's got to walk through the fire. You just don't know when it's going to be.
But every athlete has a couple years where you just, you got to walk through that fire and sometimes there's a big spotlight on you and sometimes athletes can do it without that spotlight on them. Those two, unfortunately, they've had to do it with a big spotlight, but neither of them are done yet. And I'm really excited about both of their progress."
