Pretty awesome to see. I think he’s gonna lower his own indoor American record (1:44.21) in the near future.
I tell you what I’d really like to see - someone finally taking down Johnny Gray’s 1:12.81 outdoor World’s Best. 36 years that mark has stood up, with Rudisha (1:13.10) the only man to come within four tenths. You’d think, though, that if Bosse could run 1:13.21 and Solomon 1:13.28, the record can’t be that strong. You’d think Brazier, Korir, and Amos would all have a legitimate shot at it.
He’s a likable American athlete that is a world champ and has a good shot to repeat. Can’t understand why anyone would root against him.
I understand the Centro hate, even though he was a OG medalist. Brazier just seems like a humble, hard working and extremely talented athlete. Good to see him running well.

Well known that Juantoreno ran 1:12 flat in practice prior to 76 Oly. Unofficial World best split 47 I'd like to see someone officially break 1:12, but until then - Juantoreno was faster than Johnny
Wonder how no one has brought Will Sumner I to this conversation yet. HS kid less than 2 seconds behind Brazier.
It'll be interesting to see what Sumner does in outdoor this year. I'm thinking 46.00 for the 400 and 1:46.3 for 800. That would be about 1:14 flat for a 600.
