Interested to hear opinions on the Adidas response to Nike's superspike. Does the TYO give a similar feel?

The TYO is thicker softer foam. They took a little bit to break in and you can feel the spike pins a little more than in the dragonflies since they don’t have one large plate on the bottom. One problem I had with the TYOs is that the foam started to shear sideways on the turns (at around 65s 400s) since it’s almost 20mm at the heel and very soft. The dragonflies feel a little more aggressive and the upper fits better. The adidas runs really long (wearing a 10.5 in them vs 11.5 in dragonfly but could probably go with 11) I would recommend dragonfly for less than 5k but the adidas is solid and a lot easier to find right now. (Also if you’re in school, don’t forget to use student discounts)
I love the TYOs. I tried the dragonflies and they just never felt comfortable— like I was constantly fighting to control my ankles. I loved the TYOs from the moment I stepped on the track. They just felt much better for me. That being said, many people obviously love the dragonflies So like regular spikes, different super spikes will fit people differently and you have to find the ones that work for you.
Is this what NAU is wearing?

Agree with Txrnr, Tyo super comfortable and less aggressive than dragonfly. But the soft foam/no plate (and being 77kg / 170lbs) has caused major blister issues from the spike under the ball of my left foot pushing up through the foam. So bad I DNF'd Night of 10000 PBs from the blister... I finished a 3000 in them tonight but blister is back so might try running with that 1 spike removed next time I use try to use them.
Dragonfly is awesome as well. Have done a lot of racing in them on track and cross country but find they always aggravate my achilles tendon on track from the combo of more ankle dorsiflexion at stance phase (max load), higher speed, and the bends.
