Ran a hell of a 16th lap too.
That was insane
Are Teare and Hocker finished? It's time they go the way of Tom Brady & hang up the spikes. Their time in the sun has come to a close. All good things must end, we are witnessing it in real time. Truly the end of an era
Jokes aside what a great race. Loads of young 1500m-5k distance talent to enjoy for the coming decade.
Best indoor race ever ?
didn't seem like hocker had it. Teare was pulling away from him as well. But Beamish definitely had the best kick in the field aside from Hocker so not surprised with a run like that. Good showing.
Yep, tactical blunder there by Teare.
Beamish is a freak talent if he stays healthy. Dude won the NCAA title in the Mile while barely running due to injuries. He is a threat to win any tactical race hes in, hopefully he can continue to improve the strength side.
Video highlights now in the 1st post.
12.32 final sprint for Beamish, 12.95 for Teare, with Hocker at 13.14.

Hockey still has a lot to learn. I can’t imagine Centroid getting beat like that

I agree. It truly does not matter what race you're in, from the 4x200 to the 5k, there is no reason to ever give someone the inside. Stick to the rail and Beamish gets 2nd or 3rd in that race.
Centro literally got beat by Hunter like 2 months ago lmao

Yeah!
they basically are past their prime. better look for employment, cuz that nike money drying up!!
Great day for On
It is great to see Beamish healthy and able to fulfill his huge potential. Teare has good speed, just not freakish acceleration and this was a very good start for Teare and Hocker to a long season. Of course, Teare was moving wide to fend off Hocker, which opened up the inside for Beamish. I was favorably impressed by Mantz's speed here. Hicks had a big pr but he is definitely one for the longer distances right now. Same with Wesley Kiptoo, who can run 5000m not much off his 3k pace.
Sometimes it seems like Cooper Teare is not that good BUT…
