I saw an ATC athlete post on their social media today about their workout. Is there any positive training effects from something like this? It seems ridiculous. To me, it's overkill.
800 time trial

I don't know pages but knew plenty of folks who have run for them in the past who said the pages were always fast. I assume prescribed pace for the 800's would be 2:12 or so and the 200's @26 (for the men).
