Looks like from what I can tell the Yale swimmer isn’t doping yet to become a transgender man so is the one at the biological disadvantage

I would not assume which pronoun they prefer, actually, and possibly they would not prefer either.
Perhaps they are non-binary.
From The Center for Transgender Equality website:
"How to Be Respectful and Supportive of Non-Binary People
It isn’t as hard as you might think to be supportive and respectful of non-binary people, even if you have just started to learn about them.
...Try not to make any assumptions about people’s gender. You can’t tell if someone is non-binary simply by looking at them, just like how you can’t tell if someone is transgender just by how they look.
If you’re not sure what pronouns someone uses, ask. Different non-binary people may use different pronouns. Many non-binary people use “they” while others use “he” or “she,” and still others use other pronouns. Asking whether someone should be referred to as “he,” “she,” “they,” or another pronoun may feel awkward at first, but is one of the simplest and most important ways to show respect for someone’s identity."
Hope this helps.
Honestly, this is really $hitty for real biological female athletes. They are just getting pushed to the side by these male-female hybrids in the name of “wokeness”.
The male athletes (and it’s usually men in leadership positions allowing this insanity to happen) aren’t suffering at all. Their sport is staying the same-a transgender “man” isn’t going to make any kind of impact at even the Ivy League college level of men sport. A transgender “female” though could be a very real Olympic medal contender.
I am even more confused than them as to what is going on here
You're definitely trying too hard here, Harvard.
Okay, the one born with a penis doesn't belong in a women's sport.

The article clearly indicates he identifies as male, not non-binary.

I agree with you. This is what equal rights looks like. Women don’t deserve special favors.

Like what, commentating on sports?
Soooo...transgender males AND transgender females BOTH compete as females within the NCAA rules? Seems like inconsistent logic.
The Ivy League is a bunch of wackos. Unfortunately this will only be the beginning of the end for the womens division.

The swimmer that is transitioning from female to male is still in the early stages, and has not transitioned to be a male yet. So that swimmer is still competing as a female for the time being
