55 years service, that is an achievement.
I'm sure he is well revered by big pharma who will be very grateful for his promulgation of "science".
Has Fauci apologized yet for bats in wet market lie or is Fauci going to stick to that lie all the way to the grave?
Is he retiring?
I thought, he would serve Joe Biden until 2028 and then another term with Kamela.
Deserved yes. The only reason it is that high is because he's 81 freakin' years old. Most people retire well before that.
While his pension will be nice whenever he finally does retire, he's not likely to get it for long since he's already so old.
The fact is that if he invested his money as he should have all these years, THAT's where the real money is. I mean, who the hell works until they are 81 and beyond in a professional job like that?

He has said he's not retiring until the pandemic is under control.
I question whether an 81-year-old man who is still working full time like he is actually wants to retire ever. Some people like to work and are driven to do so. I'm not that guy. He is that guy.
Good riddance to this sociopath. He should retire to Wuhan.

Who works til 81? A person who loves his job.
A bigger question is why do we nominate and vote for 70+ year olds to lead our country.

Yes, all hail God-King Fauci.
The number of arsonists on this site who hate the guy who called in the fire department because of a huge, life-threatening fire never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah, I'm not criticizing him. You just don't see pretty much ANYONE working a regular job until 81. That's why his pension would be so high if he retired now. Pretty much no one puts in that number of years working. Average life expectancy for men is lower than his age, and average retirement age is even lower than that (obviously).
I've seen guys in their 40s who look older than he does.
Seems pretty reasonable and even modest. Even some (not all) state university researchers in highly paid fields like tech fields retire with 80% of pre-retirement income, which would be comparable to Fauci’s.

The same reason guys like McCain, Biden, and Bernie stick around for 50+ years. There’s more money taking legal bribes than there is investing, working in private sector, or retirement. Legal bribes consist of lobbying. If you don’t believe me, I know the guy who runs CA’s largest super PAC and he says they hand out large personal checks all the time for politicians to vote a certain way. And it’s all legal, baby.
You can get a taste of the amount of bribery by looking up lobbying dollars spent by corporations. I suspect Pfizer had a large uptick in lobbying beginning in March 2020. Gotta love corrupt America. We’re no different than the worst corrupt countries in the world.
Fauci was elected one fewer times than Hitler.
His salary is higher than the President's. The president has the most important job in the world while Fauci is an advisor. Imagine Gates or Bezos paying an advisor more than they make. And his retirement of 80% was maxed out when he was 66!

His fact free smearing of Ron Paul and RFK Jr. was pure class.
