Would she be number 1?
Would she be number 1?
8k/10k number 1.
5k number 5.

Could she really be the fastest at 8k 10k?
I know her 5k wr is basically what these boys ran on a flat xc course. But she may be even faster now. Maybe number 4?
Would be interesting to see how fast the Youngs and Sahlmans could run a half. Surely they could run under 1:05.
They run 60MPW. She has run 29 minutes. They would not unless they bumped mileage up to 80 for a few months.

Considering gidey would have placed tenth in the men's us half marathon championship last month, she likely destroys the entire team(and nearly all d1 males as well).
I would guess not. Elite high school boys typically perform at about the level of all time best female athletes across all sports.
If we're talking about the best hs boys in the nation, then those typically outperform even the womens WRs. I think Gidey would be good enough to score on this team tho.

Not if they dope like she does.

So not at all?

The word "does" was in that sentence.
So was the word ”like”.

Well she's doping and the boys are probably not.
Barring proof of doping, I’ll just enjoy watching Ms. Gidey. But for anyone interested in context, in her first World Junior win, she beat Katie Rainsburger by over 3 minutes. That’s like a lifetime over 6k. I would like to think she’s a generational time trial talent. Perhaps she has not the raw speed to win Championship tactical races.

Which means the same as "as" ("as she does") in that context.
It is officially estimated by confidential athlete surveys that up to 1 in 2 championship athletes could be doping. With a world record-holder who has run a hm at the same level as many elite men, what are the chances she is one of them?
At 5K, it's probably a toss-up with a slight edge for the top 4 (she easily beats the #5). Any distance substantially greater (8k, 10k, HM), she wins against them all fairly easily.
I bet Sifan Hassan would take down at least 1 or 2 of the top 4 NP athletes in a 5K race though.

How about 57% said - yes, they had doped?

Even 57% is a lie and too low. At top end of any sport, I bet near 100% are up to "something" that could cause a suspension.

I'm willing to bet everything you have that they most certainly couldn't.

None of 'the boys' have ever passed one.
