This is incredible. Expect her to be in the running to win the NCAA when she should be a HS senior.

pretty awesome. she is only 17
Should be going to places like Boston and running real times though.
I believe she broke her under-20 American record of 15:34 she ran last December (year ago). FYI - Tuohy was only 15 when she ran 15:37.
That is unfortunate because she is going on 20 and has not run faster. Seems like Cain or Ping or others who hit their peak before 20.

Does this prove her 15:58 from RunningLane last year is on an accurate course now? LOL
Great job if true. Link?
Where is the proof of this? Is there a video?
It is just a joke.
I heard it from the NC State girls.
The 3200 TT a couple of years back was a fun conversation piece.
If correct, that's awesome. I want proof though. Preferably by beating her 15:34 PR this Indoor season.
People are always gullible. A Tuohy thread degenerated into comparisons with Hassan, Kipochege, Cain, Hutchins, Mu, etc and the flame war spilled over.
Why? I would be shocked for her not to actually race faster indoor. A TT of 15:19 makes sense.
Somebody should ask Tuohy. They are friends and her dad posts here.
Ok fine. Everything an anonymous person types on here is true. Great job. LOLL. For all I know she is not training at all, or training slower than before, or training faster than before , or breaking the WR in practice.
I doubt anyone cares if you believe it or not. Most know.
Hutchins had an injury and then body change.... people are either oblivious to the obvious or too scared to mention the subject ... just like thorvaldson, she can not run as fast as she used too, but she's a great girl with talent and she can bounce back like tuohy....
For the last time female distance Runners will not have a straightforward progression. Stop going crazy when they run a fast time for one season and then go crazy when they slow down a little and start writing that there finished
She'll do fine if she wants to focus on running but there's no way she's running any record times this season and is a reason she didn't compete , it was a smart move given the fact that she needs time to get back
