Learn to read and then read something not posted on right leaning websites. An Oregon Health Authority advisory committee is drafting language for a “permanent” indoor mask mandate rule. The current mandate expires in February and cannot be extended by executive order. A new mandate would be more indefinite and would allow the governor to keep a mandate for as long as needed.

This does not mean that you will have to mask up forever. If you are vaxxed, you don’t need to wear a mask at Hayward. I went to several meets last year and never had to don a mask.

But, stay away all the same.

If that is truly what Oregon is doing, that's ridiculous. Situations can and often do change. It is entirely possible and even likely that eventually COVID will not be of great risk to the public (it still is today though).

To be honest, most of the people that fall for that crap live in the Portland, Salem, Eugene areas. Bend is getting iffy with all their Cali imports but the rest of the state is fed up and about 50% compliant if that. Many restaurant employees dont wear masks and most patrons either. Grocery stores etc are pretty loose with enforcement and dont want conflict. Unfortunate for the kids in schools though. Attendance is worse than pre-covid which was atrocious by most standards to begin with.

Now that Gov Kate Brownstreak has been sighted in Washington DC without her mask, Im thinking fewer will be compliant. Shes already got the bar so low in Oregon it cant get much worse as shes planning her escape to the Biden admin. They are pathetic at best.

Ok, it could get worse with some of the candidates running/cheating their way into that office.

I attended Pre Classic last summer and immediately took my mask off without confrontation. Have tickets to worlds and plan on the same lolicy but yeah, it could change between now and then.
