Gavin Sherry wins in 15:05.8, a new meet and course record. Marco Langdon ties the previous meet record of Donn Cabral (15:09.6). McDougal had run a 15:08.0 at the NYRRC XC Champs a couple of weeks prior to FLNE his senior year.

Obviously, a unique year with the usual Footlocker/Eastbay meet, and then Nike hosting the NY & NE regional meet, but no corresponding national Nike meet, and now RunningLane hosting a national meet for teams and individuals. So, that leaves me wondering about a few top Northeast guys.
Aidan Cox ran with his team at Nike Northeast Regional, and he's entered to run at RunningLane, but that's not the case for the majority of his team. That said, he ran quite fast (15:43.6) today at Bowdoin, winning by over 30 seconds. If you were going to run that hard, why not run at Van Cortlandt today and see if you could qualify for Eastbay nationals if there are no real team considerations? Maybe too many big races in a row/maybe he's waiting to run Eastbay when he's a senior?
Jackson Barna and Aidan Ross - on the Eastbay regional registration list and RunningLane registration list. Didn't see either of them in the Eastbay or Nike NE Regional results. I suppose they decided to skip the regional races and just compete at RunningLane?
Gavin Ehlers - was on Eastbay Regional registration list, but not in results, nor did he appear to run Nike NY. He also doesn't show on the RunningLane registration list, so I guess that's a wrap for his final XC season?
Are there full results somewhere yet? I’ve only seen the top 10

Ehlers ran, had his first off race I’ve ever seen placing 58th

Thanks - not sure how I missed him, but I obviously did.
That’s too bad he had an off day today.
I know I’m showing my age, but I miss the days when 32 boys and girls qualified from 4 regions (called footlockers) in my day. Top 8 made it a hell of a tough race and very simple. Nike had to get involved and ruin things.
Word is Jackson Barna didn’t run due to illness. Had a great season capped by his second place at NJ MOC
Idk about preferring 32 to 40, but I definitely appreciate the feel of a real national championship that Eastbay has this year, with no NXN to pull top individuals. A shame NP won’t be there but it seems almost every other top athlete will.
Go Gavin! Conard HS / West Hartford CT represent!
Apparently Gavin’s brother(who’s also committed to Stanford w him)was very close to being the 10th and final qualifier and was in that position but he stumbled and fell on the final long straightaway and finished far back. Someone else from CT got the final spot.

I was wondering what happened to Callum. He's not on the finisher's list at all. After the Sherry boys coming 1/2 in the state and 1/3 at New Englands, I expected to see them both heading to Eastbay nationals as well. Too bad.
CT is looking pretty dominant in the northeast this year - swept 1-5 spots at New Englands and took 4 of the 10 Northeast spots for Eastbay.
Callum finished in 43rd place (16:18.4).
I was there and the announcer said he was in the top 10 (I think 9th) at the 4k mark. I assumed he just hit the wall, but the poster above said that he fell very close to the finish line (while still in a qualifying position). That's a very tough break, but I'm sure he'll bounce back for indoors/outdoors.

Barna got sick and couldn’t compete
Yup, saw that Barna was sick, which is a tough break.
Anybody know about Aidan Ross?

Ah, my bad. I did a quick search on the page for "Sherry" before and somehow Gavin was the only hit. I didn't actually scroll through, but I see it now.

8, not 10 qualify.

Somewhere along the way they switched it to 10. See this tweet from Eastbay announcing the Northeast qualifiers.

I heard it was more like collapsing from exhaustion than like tripping, but he got up and hauled himself across the line to barely beat another one of CT’s better runners (Sean baraksy)

Gavin was in the results look at champ, placed 58. Heard he was not feeling well, potentially sick.
