You just ran 3hrs for the marathon bubba. Any local marathon will have enough competition.

Interesting that you have decided to start a new thread about him in order to criticize. Which inevitably influences people here to go watch his new video, thus giving him more views and continuing on with what he is doing.
So carry on I guess
I don’t the OP cares pal. Grow up
Thanks for the recap, looks like I will skip another one of his narcissistic videos.

I think True Love laid down the law. He clearly wanted to run Boston but she wanted him to be home for Easter.
Oh, and as you know from my SJD troll threads, I don’t watch his videos.
More mad scientist nonsense huffing away in the mountains for 140 miles a week? Or is he actually going to do some legit road marathon training? He's a complete fool if he doesn't do legit road training this time.

He hasn’t qualified for Boston. If he keeps training hard he will though.

Yet ANOTHER Seth thread. I say he starts giving the BroJos 10% of his Youtube royalties starting now! Seth FTW.
Who gives a F? Does Seth post these here just to get more traffic. This guy is too slow to matter.
LOL! Smart business move, True Love. Hmmm...big mortgage and I want you home for Easter because there are probably no Catholic churches in Boston and the boys need you to stage an Easter egg hunt in our new yard. OK, let's pick a marathon with larger upfront costs for traveling expenses in countries where you have very little influence and the race organizers likely will not comp anything nor place you in the elite corral. Plus, let's also choose someplace that has a completely different food culture than the USA and you will not have access to your normal grub. Let's also go for something where jet lag and time zone adaptation becomes a consideration. 10 hours in a coach seat shouldn't have any effect on your legs. What could possibly go wrong?
Welp. He's reached a new low.

His marathons from 2019 would have counted for qualifying for Boston 2022, due to the increased qualifying period due to COVID. Sept 1, 2019 through November 12, 2021.

No special treatment though. The guy is literally a joke of a runner.

He's a 2:20s guy who had a bad race that LRC has an unhealthy obsession with. People have bad races. He's not a 3 hour guy. Honestly if you're running sub-2:40, your spring option is Boston if you want people to run with. A place like Rotterdam has good depth & more reliable weather for a sub-2:30 runner chasing 2:20. It makes tons of sense.

I get your points about travelling being disruptive but come on people travel for big marathons all the time. Including the pros. Seth just likes to go cheap and arrive like the day before only etc. giving him zero time to adapt. If he arrives a couple days early should be no issue.

Seth's 2:23:37 PR is from Amsterdam 2019. He hit the half in 1:06:52 because he made the choice to try to hang with a group that had Michael Butter pacing Frank Futselar at 2:14:00 pace because there appeared to be no one running sub 2:19:00 pace and he didn't want to run alone.
I just looked at the 2019 Rotterdam results and it looks like a large number of guys went through the half in sub 2:20 pace so Seth should have more people running his goal pace than he has ever had in a Marathon.
I suspect Seth will arrive several days early and get some type of sub-elite treatment as he did in Amsterdam 2019 when he was a little known mountain runner with a small youtube channel that had never run a road marathon.
I thought i'd watch his NY video to find out how long he took. Saw 2 videos with lots of "inspiring" walking but never saw the time. Was not going to give him a third video of watch time to find out.
