This seems about right to me. I think arguments could be made to switch the GL and MW regions as well as the South and Northeast.
The Great Lakes is typically deeper and better with teams like Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Michigan, Indiana, Butler, Michigan State, and Eastern Michigan almost always in the mix to make it to Natties. On the other hand, outside of Iowa State, OK State, and Tulsa (recently on the rise), the MW seems to be a bit lacking, especially compared to the GL.
Beyond FSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss (also recently on the rise), who else does the South typically have that would put them ahead all the best teams from the Northeast?
I would maybe go with something like:
Mountain
West
Great Lakes
Midwest
Southeast
Mid-Atlantic
Northeast
South
South Central

It seems like Indiana has really gone downhill. Freshman Sanchez is showing some promise. I thought Stidham was going to end up ok but he faltered at the end. Horter never lived up to the hype and hasn’t really done anything since high school. I’m not sure what is up with Veatch. I’m wondering if Schadler & Jordan have left the program. Schadler in particular has shown promise. Haskett seems like he might have some potential. Jha has really been the only solid and dependable guy. Since he has extra eligibility, he would be wise to transfer to a better program for grad school. It seems like a mess in Bloomington.
I would move the South up in front Mid Atlantic and South East...
Compare them with the Southeast, they got more teams in, more national ranked teams and MTSU (6th in South) beat Charlotte (5th in SE) to win their Conference meet.
South is definitely better than Mid Atlantic and southeast for same points you just mentioned. UNF and Lipscomb are slept on. And MTSU and Tennessee are good teams as well
Well, looks the the results are in for the best region. And the surprise winner....the MIDWEST?! If you score the top 4 teams from each region:
Midwest: 2-3-6-21 = 32
Mountain: 1-7-8-17 = 33
West: 5-13-16-26 = A lot
Really strong performance from the midwest teams - especially congrats to Iowa State for a surprise 2nd place.
3 of the top 6 from one region!
