Double vaxxed (Pfizer, 2nd dose early July), tested nov 13th with antigen (2 pos tests, to be sure).
Likely picked it up during recent travel, although I was careful. Wife traveled with, she tested negative.

Age? How do you feel so far?
Just turned 45.
Feels like a cold, with mostly congestion, headache, and runny nose. Symptoms started wednesday with just mild congestion.
Ran the day before the test (friday), a short xc workout tune up with mile /1000m /400m, in prep for a 5k I was due to run this week end. Workout went fine. Felt a little tired during cool down, but heart rate wasn't particularly high.

No vax. Have been around people who were sick with Covid. Never have had a single symptom of Covid.

Sorry, what is your question?

I made a statement. Giving my experience with Covid. As the OP has done.
Not sure why you find that confusing.

Dude, the title literally says "ask me anything".
Are you isolating from your wife?
Are u getting a booster to cure this?

Yes, i'm in a separate room. It's only day 2 but the logistics is a bit challenging.
Do you believe Covid mitigation measures (masks, etc) are still necessary to combat terrible experiences of breakthrough Covid like you have experienced?

Do the challenging logistics of doing this for 10 days make sense considering the fact that BT COVID is, as you have experienced, almost always just mild cold symptoms?

I don't know the recommended medical approach when you had vax + covid. I think technically i get 9 months immunity from the day of the test, so i don't believe i'll get a booster anytime soon.
Right now , treating with Advil, sterimar, anticongestants, and tea. Lots of tea.

Interesting question. I keep revisualizing my recent trip and where i could have picked it up ... There was transport (plane, subway, bus - all with masks), restaurants and bars (indoors, no mask), the hotel (pool, sauna). But i thought we did a pretty good job at keeping away from other people and wadhing hands/ wearing masks.
So, i have no idea how i caught it. Perhaps it was before the trip, or shortly after. We also had a housesitter in the house while awzy, maybe covid got transmitted through her somehow?
To answer your question more briefly, i don't know.

Right now 10 days seem very very long. I plan to get tested every 2 days and monitor symptoms. I think it would be reasonable to go back to "normal" (including running), once i have no symptom + negative test.

When did you get tested? I heard you had to wait 4-5 days after travel to get tested?
Did you have symptoms before you got tested?

Tested yesterday nov 13th. Traveled back home on nov 9th.
I had some mild nasal congestion on wednesday the 10th, that evolved into runny nose on thursday the 11th, then headache on the 12th. On the 13th I decided to get tested, although i was 90% sure it was a common cold.
No coughing & no fever (so far), a but tired but nothing more than what you get at the end of a workweek.
Today i'm feeling a bit better than yesterday.

Since the PCR test is invalid and your “COVID” has never been isolated, congratulations. Did it cross your brainwashed mind that you have a seasonal cold or flu? If you have been jabbed your immune system is gonna keep weakening. Enjoy your traveling,
I'll play along and answer your "question".
Of course I thought I was coming down with a cold. But as i said above i was 90% sure, so i got a test to check (not a PCR test, an antigen self test)- and bingo, it's covid. I retested and was positive again.
My wife did a test with a kit from the same packet and it came back negative. She has no symptoms.
3rd day in isolation. Eyes are tired from watching too much youtube. Symptoms improving.
I'm really bored. Ask me questions please!
