I've been a runner for 20 years and typically did my easy and long runs in neutral cushioned shoes, primarily the Cumulus and Nimbus.
After reading reviews of the Novablast and getting a good price on them, I decided to give them a try. What I have noticed is that I'm running a good 20-30 seconds per mile faster on all of those runs now. At first I thought it was a fluke and that I was just excited to try something new, but after 3 weeks it is definitely not a fluke. My HR is exactly the same (125-128) with the same perceived effort, the only change is the faster pace.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this before? I wouldn't have believed it until I experienced it myself.
Also, is there any training benefit or detriment to this new faster daily pace? I don't feel beat up or sore at all.
