Oh it's a Pfizer drug eh? Well if they can sell it for more than they sell the vaccines, it may be accepted. There's a reason why ivermectin has a smear campaign against it. Because it is dirt cheap and does not make big pharma rich. Big pharma doesn't want a cure because a customer cured is a customer lost. Hence all the booster shots of covid vaccines. They need a continued stream of revenue. Great scheme for them, really, but at the expense of their dignity/moral compassion. Time to wake up.

Well, I can't pretend to know the libs' thinking--I've been a voter for 50 years and not once have I cast a ballot on the Democratic line, for any office--but why would they be "devastated"? They've been urging people to do stuff that would reduce deaths, which this antiviral seems to do--no?

From a marketing standpoint, a pill always beats a shot. One possible scenario is that the shots will be gradually reduced in price and dumped into poor countries to achieve maximum positive PR while the pills are introduced at a huge markup in wealthier countries. Pfizer, of course, will calibrate the sales of their products to achieve the greatest profit.

Wtf are you talking about?
They are the Trump vaccines and they are safe.
I saw "oral" in the title of the post and had to click.
Good...I don't like pricks.

You’d honestly rather take a drug pill 10 times? You feel so safe about this new experimental drug, but not the vaccine? Whatever, go for it. I couldn’t care less if you are vaccinated or take the pill.

Yep. Problem is liberals would push for these mandates even if the virus disappeared. They are committed now to everything not science or health
The OP is undoubtedly a liberal pretending to be a patriot. These pills are nothing more than a desperate bid by Big Pharma to profit off the vaccine independent population. They are like 10x worse than the vaccine in terms of the potential long-term health complications and ability for the government to embed tracking devices or hormone blockers in the general population. Just like "anti-inflammatories" or "daily vitamins." Stick your poison pills up your ass!

No - because it's a treatment for river blindness and animals, and it has been clearly shown that the majority of studies that promote its use against covid have been conducted either incompetently or fraudulently.
Next week I might do a study that shows that toothpaste is an effective anti-covid treatment. It'll be just as effective as Ivermectin.

So they're suppositories?
The issue with this pill is a lack of cheap, accessible testing. From what I understand, this treatment was done when the pill use begins within 3 days of first symptoms. That means you need to a.) know it's Covid early, and b.) start taking the pills without any indication of severity, as severe cases are exhibited after more than 3 days. This can be cost prohibited if Pfizer charges similarly to Merck's pill (Merck is likely 700$ per treatment). Are you just going to start 50k people a day on a pill? That's a cost of around 12-13 billion a year (plus another about 100$ per person for the HIV drug it is paired with).
What's going to happen to Letsrun when covid goes away?
I can only imagine that all the same issues antivaxers have with the vaccine they will have with this as well.
Something about not knowing long term effects. Big Pharma something, made money something. Someone once claimed it caused some other unrelated problem. Maybe they think it causes autism this time or something.
LOL. Tracking devices in a pill that's gonna be crapped out in a few hours. You just love dystopian sci fi obviously.
Oh come on. Vaccines were only ever about force and control, not about you staying healthy. All the emerging evidence shows the "effectiveness" of the Covid vaccines is short-lived. Then you'll need a booster, and another. It'll be equal parts amusing and sad to observe how long the masses keep going along with endless boosters and an ever-changing definition of what it means to be "vaccinated."

Most people you call "antivaxers" are not against vaccination, they are against having the vaccine imposed, forced upon them.
A pill that offers a cure will not (I guess) be object of mandates and discrimination like we are seeing with vaccines.
