A small-time YouTuber ran Boston 2021 with a GoPro and put a short video with some clips from the race on YouTube He received an email from the B.A.A. telling him to remove it immediately, claiming a violation of their News Access Guidelines. The B.A.A. website explicitly discourages but does not prohibit running with a GoPro for personal use. The video did not report on the race as a whole, discuss winners, anything like that. It was just to document one random runner's experience.
This guy has under 4,000 subscribers and his videos get maybe 10-15k views max. Doesn't the B.A.A. have anything better to do than harass some average guy who put a few minutes of on-course footage documenting his run on a website for a few other people to enjoy?
