Altitude schools do well at sea level too.
Sea level school do bad at altitude
I say give Wetmore 32% of his pay as he does not work after XC season. His Track and Field teams suck.

Suck??
OK critic100-boi!
Not including Cross County:
22 individual t&f field national champions, men and women.
100+ individual conference champions, men and women.
rofessional contracts.
Since 2000, 10 CU athletes or graduates have earned 19 U.S. Olympic
Team berths at distances from 1,500-meters through the marathon.
Fourteen current and former Buffs have
earned 33 spots on U.S. World Championship Track Teams and 25 have combined for 61 berths on U.S. World
Championship Cross Country Teams.
Since 2004, CU graduates have won seven medals on the world stage
Wetmore athletes/CU graduates with World Championships:
- Shayne Culpepper (bronze, 2004 Indoor 3k)
- Kara Goucher (silver, 2007 10k)
- Jenny Simpson (gold, 2011, silver, 2013 and silver, 2017 1,500m)
- Emma Coburn (gold, 2017 steeplechase).
And Olympics:
- Coburn (steeplechase) (2016)
- Simpson (1,500) (2016)
Plus over 200 T&F All Americans (not counting xc!)
....NOW, should we go over Mark Wetmore's Cross Country accolades, Critic-boi???
Yes he runs a spring XC program. That doesn’t mean he still doesn’t suck at track. How does the team compete outside of distance? Imo cross country and track should be forced to split scholarships. Only 3 scholarships should be allocated to those whom compete in XC. Putting nearly all of your scholarships into cross country runners is a sham.
Nope. XC should get 15 scholarships and track 40.
Go Buffs!
Losers always have some kind of excuse for being losers.
The Buffs are the stuff!
Yes, you are right except Wetmore has coached very few of these Olympians, nothing under 1500m.
As I stated, he's good for distance. But what about the other 21 events, he scores a big goose egg bro.
He can't even keep good ballistic events coach to stay past 3 years, Why? because Wetmore has such a big ego, that there is no room for any other coach on his staff to coach past the State Champs. How does he do in indoor and outdoor track at the NCs?
He’s the best coach period! Hard to argue otherwise. And they have a legit shot to knock off NC State

At the elite level coaches, like athletes, have certain events that they specialize in. You can't expect a distance coach to know how to train fast mid-D and sprints.

Believe me, Markamora knows how to train fast mid-D athletes.
Easy there, Carl Rose.
Not counting XC? Funny enough, you counted XC. How many of these post-grad accomplishments were actually coached by him?
Better question: what other school in Colorado is doing as well or better than this, in track or xc? Quiller certainly wasn't doing it at CU before Wetmore.
Also: critic 100 is a notorious troll
