Cool.
So, who enters the transfer portal to actually have an opportunity to compete as a college athlete?
Is it better to be the 15th or 20th runner at NC State, or the #1 runner at say Penn State, for example?
Some of these women would get larger scholarships elsewhere since I would say it is better to be number 1 at Penn State than 15 at NC State. Even better to go to a better school on an equivalent scholarship.

They will lose 3 of their top 7 of this year (Steelman, Hays, Clairemonte). Chmiel may even graduate early and begin residency so who know if she will run next year? There will be opportunities to compete in XC - if they are good enough. If not, certainly in T&F.
Coach Henes is also still maintaining her pipeline to good Ohio runners. Grace Hartman of Oakwood, Ohio will be good. IN her district meet she went 17:17 over 5K last weekend on a verified course. Great signing for the Wolfpack.
Residency in what lol? Do you mean medical school? NC state has no medical school so no way she's already on to residency
Veterinary School as referenced around 20:00 in this video. perhaps "residency" was a poor choice of words (or memory) on my part.
FastTuohy, you are a bit creepy. You know WAY too much about the NC State women’s team and comment on them way too much to be healthy.

Perhaps he or she has a kid there or had a kid there. There's really nothing creepy about FastTuohy's posts. I know little about the NC State program so I like reading the info.

Laura Muir ran 3.55 while in Vet school, are you building an excuse for her already? Oh that's right, US Vet schools are much harder than British ones .

Agreed
As opposed to following the drugged up clown show that is professional running? I'll take a college running discussion any day of the week.
He initially only paid attention to high school girls' running, especially relating to Tuohy. He has no connection to her but used her name even when she was underage. He then followed her to college and became a fan of her college team and he researched every woman on her college team. He now is a huge NCAA women's running fan. The mods probably should have banned the use of her name when she was a minor because it made it appear that he was either her or her father.

How do you know that FastTuohy is a man? Perhaps he or she is a woman.
He told us.

Agreed. The more info that gets consolidated and presented here the better.

People always call out this creepy angle for a little bit of self-righteous good feeling. But if you think about it is the exact opposite of creepy. It's actually very natural. I mean think about it there's tons of Baseball fans that know everything about their favorite players, why would it at all be creepy for a man to be interested in women's sports. Seems more natural than the baseball fan...
It's funny most people don't bat an eye, over really creepy things like drugs and alcohol, pollution and poisons, and inane religious superstitions.. but they play this cliche over and over....
