If Columbus is cancelled Darris will refund our $, so no issues there. I will map out a 26.2-mile course in my neighborhood on MapMyRun and run that.
I'll take a few weeks off, keep building base and training in the winter, and hope for a summer 2022 Marathon (or even something in April/May like the CVS Cleveland Marathon). By the spring of '22 cases should go back down once "covid season" ends.
That way I'm mentally not crushed if they cancel it after all my hard work (about 1500 miles or so of training).
