Would it be that crazy if Syd runs 51.1-51.2, Dalilah 51.4 and then Bol 51.9x? I’m starting to believe it

Switch the names.
Bol is gonna take the win.

Sydney 51.2 dalilah 51.99 Bol 52.3

According to the scoring tables, the women’s gold medalist will need to break 50 to equal what KW did tonight. Only Kipchoge’s INEOS garners more points, and it doesn’t count. If Krouser breaks the world record again, say 23.5 m, he will be close.

Sydney wins, but Bol sneaks by Delilah for silver.
I know Sydney is probably still in World Record shape, but Dalilah hasn’t run her fastest times since the 2019 season right?

One of my first thoughts after seeing this race was about the possibility of Syd cracking 51 seconds now.
Sydney McLaughlin said "pressure is just an illusion." Been seeing a lot of people on here say Femke Bol will win but how can you go against that..

Wouldn't surprise me to see a 51.1 the track is faster than any surface used previously.
SM 51.4
DM 51.5
FB 52.0
Pretty good prediction by the OP. Syd just wasn't quite that quick but very good call.
The guy calling Bol for gold was cute lolololol.

The scoring tables and points weren’t designed to compare genders. You can only compare within a gender between events. Crouser would have to throw 23.67 to be equivalent to Warholm.
“Due to obvious biological differences, it is not proposed to fully compare men's and women's performances. Thus, the system contains scoring tables for men's and women's events respectively.”
