Was a thread a little while back comparing the sudden rise/progressions of Mohammed Katir and Shelby Houlihan. I pulled up these stats RE: SH and MK's old PRs from before their breakout seasons and see where that situated them in season best lists, and all time performance lists. I thought I'd see how Josette Norris' compares.
Doubt it'll get the same traction or attention as Katir or Houlihan as rather than upsetting the big names at Trials/Diamond Leagues she bombed, but at the same age as Houlihan she had a bigger jump in PRs (11s vs 6s) and an even bigger jump up the all time performance lists than Katir.
No accusations! People were arguing over the biggest breakout jumps of all time, and I think going from unranked (rankings cap out at 8500/4:10) to sub 4 has to be one of the most stunning. For me this might be my biggest "I did not see that coming" in women's middle distance running.
