Thanks Doris.
That 1500 is going to be FAST. Sowinski pacing, and both Tim and Jakob there, along with Stewart to push it should the pace lag. Should be a fun race. 3:27.9 FTW
No Brits in the 1500m. No Big Mac either. Is he seriously going to turn up in Tokyo and medal again? I'll never watch the sport again if it happens.
Jeez.
- WR watch in the 400m hurdles, Warholm v Benjamin
- Deep Women's 800 ft World Champ Naakayi, Wilson, Reekie, WL Almanza; entire field w/ 1:58 PRs
- WR watch in the 1500m, Cheruiyot v Jakob w/ Sowinski n Sein pacing, ft. McSweyn, Tefera, Katir, Lewandowski, AussieChamp Edwards, Filip, KenyanChamp Simotwo, and more 3:34s
- WR watch in the 200m, Fraser-Price v Thomas v Miller-Uibo v Okagbare, all in great shape
- Okay Men's Steeple, group of 8:00 to
- CRAZY DEEP Men's 800 - Amos, Arop, Dobek, Dustin, Giles, Hoppel, Korir, Murphy, Rotich, Tuka;
1:41 guy, 4 1:42 guys, buncha 1:43 guys, and nearly all with good SBs already besides Amos
- WR watch in the Women's 1500m - Hassan v Kipyegon ft Purrier, Arafi, Chebet, Nanyondo, Mishesha, McGee, MacLean, Guerrero; ton of 3:58 to 4:02 women, and top two + Purrier in incredible shape
- Olympic preview in Men's 100m - US Team of Bromell, Baker, Kerley v Simbine, DeGrasse, Jacobs, Vicaut, Tortu - all but two solidly sub 10 already
- Olympic preview in the Women's Steeple, Chepkoech v Coburn v Kiyeng and Krause, plenty of others
Very excited to see the Aussie's in the 1500m, expecting big things from Jye Edwards!
The men's 1500m is kinda a disappointment to me. No Wightman, Centro, Hocker, Hoare or Kerr. Emmanuel Korir in the 800 will be of major intrigue to me.
Hoppel should scratch, he's nowhere near where he needs to be. He needs to heal up and get fit
Why are all these us olympians running this so close to the trails? Seems like they could benefit by focusing on training until the games.

Because Monaco is a super fast track and these guys want PBs, national records, maybe Wars. They're sharp and ready to race
That should be WRs not wars
Monaco is fast, but not faster than hayward with a heat wave like last week
Would have liked to see Athing Mu run the 800 on the Monaco Track (I hope the add her) and Hocker and Centro and Nuguse in the 1500 (but their times are not their yet except for Centro but his 3:30.40 was a long time ago) Maybe next year for Hocker and Nuguse.

Wanted to write exactly the same.
Coevett gone and this forum would be a better one.
If and when Tim topples J.I., he'll find himself headed to the Olympics.
Going to be fun to see how the young Brit 800m man Dustin does here. He has been throwing down a big kick to run people down, will he have it here?
World Record watch - Warholm vs. Benjamin in the 400H.

Now we will see just how injured Tim really is.
"McSweyn, Tefera, Lewandowski"
These runners are definitely for the décor .
They are done for me.

What? McSweyn ran a 3:31 recently just behind Tim. Is Tim decor too?
Just because he hasn't run well in the less important 5000 doesn't mean McSweyn is done
