Could Shelby have been doping secretly without Jerry or Shalane knowing?

Odds are Shelby has no idea what’s she taking if she is a doper to be able to maintain her innonence, and Jerry might have little knowledge as well. I doubt he is an expert on endocrinology or pharmacology

Yes, of course she could have been doing it without their knowledge. But it also seems unlikely.

All top americans are doped out of their skulls,across many sports.Its been that way for decades.Look at how fast their miraculously muscled collegians are,their 22 plus meter shot putters,their sprinters,other field athletes,many of their middle and long distance stars,hurdlers too.They take cocktails of EPO steroids ,human growth hormones,whatever they can get.Most likely their coaches give it to them.If the real truth of usa's doping finally came to light,theyd be banned for a thousand years.
