NXN All-American Carson Belnap has seemingly dropped off of the face of the Earth. No instagram, no strava, not on BYU's roster.
Is he on mission? Do they take you off of the roster when you go on mission?

I have no first hand information, and I can't come across anything public on a cursory search.
But he is almost certainly on a mission. Athletes are not on the roster unless they enroll prior to leaving.
Until a few years ago missionaries were not allowed to go on missions until they were 19, so most would compete at least a season of XC and sometimes track as well, even if only redshirting depending on when they turned 19. This was a hard fast rule.
But the church changed the rules 5 or 6 years ago and most are leaving right after HS without enrolling.
He’s on a mission.
From dog?
Apparently he decided to take a 5th year at a different high school.
No college results from him at all
He is on a mission. I had a chance to get my ass kicked by him at region and state, so I have kept my eye on him :/
Has he decided to enroll in Weber State instead? LinkedIn indicates education at Weber State 2023-2027 which lines up with COVID + 2 year mission timeline.

That profile is sparse and may or may not be him. The guy seems to have no social media profile and no one on BYU’s sports board seems to know or want to share what he decided to do instead of run for BYU. Regardless, I hope it’s working out for him.
The mission age changed in 2012.
