I am feeling it is just the piriformis itself which may be reacting to knee issues. Or possibly vice-versa.
Right now almost feeling I'm good to go except, a heavy cold & still some tenderness over piriformis site. Will continue with present treatment modalities.
Up here in Canada it may be difficult to order this Sacro Wedgy.
I'm also wondering the value of an in-depth video gait analysis where there are these points attached head to toe on you, you are on a treadmill and results are on a computer, extremely high tech...one was done on Bill Rogers, former top U.S. marathoner (and a hell of a great guy, briefly met him in Boston, 1981!) as he & I too have a rather 'unique' running style....so I have been told..I KNOW on cannot change here it's like your handwriting etc. BUT if this could well be a factor, and i ahve an appalling feeling this might be my case...it's worth looking into.
What does anyone else think.
For the record I don't mean to compare myself to Bill Rogers, was 28 min. behind him for marathon PR's
