Anyone who is paying attention can see that Eliud will lose today. Eliud is no longer invincible. I will actually celebrate this changing of the guard.

Pretty darn good prediction and for some reason our mod deleted it. I guess they thought you were trolling. Were you trolling or did you really think he'd lose?
He lost the first one in 2013 IIRC. Still, a long winning streak has just been broken.

Thanks Rojo. I was serious about my prediction but I am not sure I would have bet my estate on it. Eliud really was due to have one of those days and I always say the marathon will humble you if you stick with it long enough. The weather also seemed to be a potential factor.
Too bad your prediction was terribly wrong as he had already lost a marathon before today.

Sure I should have been more accurate.
Rojo can’t even identify a blatant troll? Gee whiz. And OP is an idiot since he already lost a marathon before AND he posted his prediction AFTER at least 2 other people on the front page.
No chance.
He lost one earlier so there is no way he will suffer his first marathon loss today.
He finished 2nd in Berlin in 2013
I bet Kekele is happy

Dude...I made a decent call about Kipchoge losing. No big deal. No need to be such a hater and no need to label your intellectual superiors as trolls.
LetsRun moderator seriously needs to get some things right. A little over the top sensitivity when it comes to managing the threads. I have seen many important discussion go down just because the moderator finds it contradictory i suppose. Being overly sensitive towards something will never fuel the progress of knowledge and understanding.

That's normal. It's maybe time to work on a real deletion policy and a way to monitor that.

A lot of the topics People post on LR are stupid anyways.

He did, but arguable in hindsight with Kipsang's suspension. But likely just a minor oversight.

yeah especially distance running, that stuff sucks
It's NOT a decent call, it's called a lucky guess and nothing more. He wasn't due, he simply had a really bad day...ever have one?
