“I am so happy about it, I may go out and buy a damn Tesla,” Cruz said roughly 10 minutes into the episode. “By the way, my girls want me to get a Tesla anyway.”
“You know why the girls love the Tesla? Because the central computer makes fart noises in each of the seats. For an 11-year-old and 13-year-old, that is the coolest feature,” the senator added. “And I’ve got to admit, as a 51-year-old, that’s a pretty cool feature, although I probably shouldn’t admit that publicly as I say into a TV camera.”

From assembly related issues on Tesla models to electronics and drive-system issues in other vehicles, EVs are more trouble-prone, according to the consumer advocacy organization.

Yet, Consumer Reports also says that EVs cost less to own and require less maintenance than gas cars. And CR also says that customer satisfaction for EVs is higher. Go figure.

When I am buying a car, the reliability might be the most important factor to consider. When CR says Tesla is the 2nd least reliable out of 28 car makers (i.e., 27th worst out of 28), I would probably decide to look elsewhere. Especially with the other problems it has.

That says nothing about what the problems actually are. Usually, things are just fixed with an over-the-air software update. For a gas car, you have to go to the dealership.
You have to ask yourself, if a Tesla is unreliable, why are Tesla customers more happy than customers of any other car? Something doesn't add up.
Not only does CR say Tesla has the highest customer satisfaction, Tesla also gets an insane 97 net promoter score. This is a score from -100 to 100. The auto industry average is 58.

Here is Consumer Reports' ranking of the major automotive brands, according to their average reliability score: 1) Mazda (83) 2) Toyota (74) 3) Lexus (71) Buick (70) Honda (63) Hyundai (62) Ram (58) Subaru (57) Porsche (55) Dodge (54) Infiniti (54) BMW (52) Nissan (51) Audi (46) Kia (45) GMC (43) Chevrolet (42) Volvo (41) Jeep (41) Mercedes-Benz (40) Cadillac (38) Ford (38) Mini (37) Volkswagen (36) 27) TESLA (29) 28) Lincoln (8)
Trump can't stop or even slow EVs. EVs are cheaper to own and they drive a lot better. It's what consumers want and there is no stopping it. The growth of EVs is only limited by how fast they can be produced.

So if a Tesla is really unreliable, why are Tesla customers more happy than any other car brand? Can you explain it?
From the article I lined earlier showing Tesla's incredible 97 net promoter score:
According to a Bloomberg study, 99% of Tesla customers would recommend the Model 3 to friends or family. That’s an incredibly high rate of customer loyalty.
Tesla has the highest owner satisfaction of all car brands, according to Consumer Reports, beating competition from automotive heavy-weights like Porsche and Volkswagen.
A recent study from Experian also found that Tesla is the number one car brand for brand loyalty. According to the survey, 74.7% of people that disposed of a Tesla car bought a new one.
So, you are saying that even without COVID Trump would have gotten stomped in 2020.
You have a fascinating habit of providing compelling arguments against yourself.
Good job!
He didn't even get "stomped" with COVID.
17% of Biden voters said they wouldn't have voted for Biden if they had known about the Hunter Biden laptop story. That's almost 14 million votes.
On the one hand, I understand the need to shorten the labels for events/issues. Watergate, Lewinsky, Iran-Conta, Afghanistan, Iraq, Obamacare, Exxon-Valdez, Sandy Hook, etc., etc., etc.
But at least in most or all of those cases, one imagines that there is some non-tiny fraction of Americans who have at least some ROUGH idea of the associated event/issue.
But, "Hunter Biden's Laptop" ???
It's not bad that he just had one, right? OK. So, there's bad stuff in it? OK. That says what?
Now, I haven't followed this story pretty much at all, because the Trumpers who love it FULLY earned their ZERO credibility level (you lie in the bed you make, morans). But I do also hope that MSM journalists haven't purposely downplayed any legitimate concerns it might raise.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure that if I went to Trump rally, WAY too many Trumpers would be absolutely incensed by "Hunter's Laptop," and very few of them would actually know what was supposed to be ON "Hunter's Laptop."
It's the opinion of someone who knows what they are talking about.
H. Sterling Burnett, Ph.D., is the Director of the Robinson Center on Climate and Environmental Policy and the managing editor of Environment & Climate News.
Unless it comes directly from Al Gore you'll dismiss it.... lol...
"Nobody has to pay for sunshine and wind"
LOL! Okay AOC!
Are you unaware that parking your Tesla in the sun isn't enough to get it to work?
Wait, did you with a straight face just hold up H. Sterling Burnett as a credible source? You are a moron.

7 million vote landslide!
Yup, stomped.
Unfortunately, if we didn't have such a monumentally stupid country, the vote count after 4+ years of watching the guy SHOULD have been: Essentially Everyone vs. Trump's Immediate Family (or at least 50-75% of it). Alas......

Yes. There's a big difference between what you know is on the laptop and what you hope is on the laptop.
I'll join you in saying that I hope the fact-based media is not covering up a big story. But the problem with the fact-based media is that they need facts before they will report something.
So is it that the facts aren't known or the facts are being covered up?
Why can't anyone on the right tell me what facts should make us care about Hunter's laptop? If all you can tell me is speculation then I'm not going to care.
All from NY and California. The founders were much smarter than you. The electoral college exists for exactly this reason.
Hint: Most or all of the Founders would have immediately committed suicide if they learned that 250 years after their hard and brilliant work roughly half of America would vote for an autocrat because they heard something about "Hunter's Laptop."
The New Jersey Department of Education is pushing for a more robust sex education curriculum that teaches gender theory to kids just leaving kindergarten.

Correct!
If independents had known about Hunter and Joe's unethical at best activities & the laptop they would have changed their votes- more than enough to flip the election Trump.
The sad thing is that too much of America (apparently including you) IS too stupid to see a possible molehill of unethical and think that it in any way compares to a Mt. Everest of crystal-clear unethical. Impressive.

HRC was a prosecutable criminal for having a few classified or confidential emails on a home server.
Trump was just being Trump when he had boxes and boxes of classified or confidential materials at his home.
WASHINGTON — Federal authorities are in the preliminary stages of investigating the handling of classified material found at former President Donald J. Trump’s Florida home after he left office, people familiar with the matter said on Thursday. The effort, led by the F.B.I., stems from the discovery of classified information in 15 boxes that contained documents, mementos, gifts and letters that had been taken from the White House at the end of Mr. Trump’s term in apparent violation of the requirements for turning over all presidential records to the National Archives. The development was reported earlier by The Washington Post.
A few things:
1) "Confidential" is the lowest level of "Classified."
2) If she had classified info where it wasn't supposed to be, I'm guessing that it was probably mostly or entirely "Secret," the next level up, and generally much more common (as illogical as that is....."classification inflation," you could probably call it).
2) Junior civilians and service members get crucified all of the time for mishandling classified materials. It's not too much to expect the most senior folks to follow the same rules. Ask David Petraeus. Maybe Hillary deserved the same. From what I remember, I think that she probably did.

Imagine if Trump's FBI raided Obama's home like this on a bogus witch hunt.
Democrats are literally human garbage.
HRC didn't have a "few e-mails" on her home server she had ALL of her e-mails on a home server and destroyed them all while under subpoena.
I guess, among LOTS of other self-improvement things, you need to look up the word "bogus."
Hint: If they find a dozen murdered bodies in the accused serial killer's crawl space, it was probably NOT a "bogus" tip.
