Yes.
There is nothing stopping us from helping both groups. It's not an either/or.

What's your take on what is happening at the Mexican border?
Should we be helping all these illegals, or helping our own homeless/low income people?
Why so many lies about what is going on down there and no press allowed in the border facilities?
My take?
There will be a strong flow of illegal immigrants across the mexican border as long as there is such a large differential between the average incomes of the US and Mexico. Nothing either country could do would stop it, other than apache helicopters mowing down people as they hike, climb or swim over.
And of course much of this immigration is legal. If someone asks for asylum the US MUST LEGALLY deal with them humanely.
No admin can handle surges perfectly - it's a spectrum between Trumpian deliberate torture and a softer hand.
Clearly Biden gave a signal that he would be less harsh than trump, and that caused a surge.
There's no perfect answer here. We can't have open borders, but we need more young people and we need the energy of immigrants. I'd sure trust the Dems much more than the torture-happy Rs.

LOL try to control your butthurtness a bit, it’s not good for your health. You are drowning yourself in propaganda, so when you say “what WE all know” you mean the kool aid guzzling loser tzees. I guess it’s easier for you to continue living in your alternate reality than to face your catastrophic loss.
Enjoy your loss. I really mean that. Times are good and Biden is fixing many of biggest trump fk ups... GDP is going to be solid. Sit back and enjoy the prosperity. And lastly, do take those pills! ????
C’mon man! Biden doesn't like purple hair staffers at summit meetings and he's bending over for China like Xi's little b!tch.

Yawn. Go find another thread to display your quackery. It was going so well when you were holed up scared of the libs... Trump didn’t win. It’s not safe to come out. Please go back inside.

so many lies? You'd have to be more specific
and obviously we can and do prioritize poor American citizens while at the same time humanely treating immigrants.
I don't know anything about the press ban.

What's wrong with the million plus we take in through LEGAL immigration? Is that not enough?
If we can do both why aren't we, and why haven't we? Why are there so many homeless people, why are there so many crime infested neighborhoods and cities?
PSA: Folks, the term is to "rein" someone in--you know, as in a horse's reins? It's not to "reign" someone in.

Gotta love the lunacy of Rs. Biden admin is conducting a record number of apprehensions and expulsions but Rs are still crying. Mexicans are dealing with a worsening economy - more poverty, more violence, and two hurricanes, means more attempted crossings. How about:
1. Stop blaming Mexicans for all our problems
2. Help Mexico fix their problems and in turn ours. Remember how effective we were at stopping drug trafficking by incarcerating hundreds of thousands of users and local dealers instead of attacking the source?
3. Look for a legal compromise like a seasonal farm worker program, that could continue to benefit our economy but not keep migrants here illegally and in limbo.
Like other problems, this is one neither party really wants to touch. But by far the GOP has a bigger incentive to make it even worse. How would all their gaslighting and victimizing work without the “bad guys”?

Funny, I don’t recall you ever calling out your dear leader when he looked weak in Helsinki, or anywhere else on any other day for that matter. You’ve got nothing fool - go take your pills and sleep it off, you’ll die of anxiety at this rate of lunacy.

You can't put a numerical limit on humanity.
If we can do both why aren't we, and why haven't we? Why are there so many homeless people, why are there so many crime infested neighborhoods and cities?
What makes you think we aren't helping with homelessness or combating crime?
What are your solutions to:
1) people seeking asylum
2) ending homlessness
3) combating crime
This doesn't look good.

All the lunatic left has is whataboutism. How about addressing the issue instead of crying whatabouttrump?
Oh that’s right. That’s all you got. ???

Why not post some situations where Trump looked weak - I don't recall the Helsinki situation.
I would love to see more facts and actual meaningful dialogue and less name calling and put downs for having a different opinion or from looking at "different facts".

Perhaps you should stop gurgling Biden's nutsack. China is mocking Biden & the USA.

Problem is, you risk not looking like a person worthy/capable of a "meaningful dialogue" when you can't pretty easily recall, say:
1) Trump standing next to the murderer autocrat ex-KGB officer Putin in Helsinki and saying perfectly clearly that he trusted him more than his own (US) intelligence agencies. If Trump hadn't already worn everyone down so much by that point, that would have been considered one of the most UNREAL presidential statements of all time. So, POTUS kissing Putin's ass. Strong?
2) Trump talking about a "love affair" with the extremely young murderer dictator of North Korea. So, POTUS kissing the fat boy's ass. Strong?
3) Trump regularly talking very similarly about the head of China. So, POTUS kissing Chinese ass. Strong?
And one could add Turkey, and KSA, and.......
.....all the while making enemies of Canada, Europe.......
You shouldn't need to be "reminded" of any of this.
I think he foresaw this, referring to Vice President Harris as President Harris the other day.
At what point does someone make a deliberation on his fitness for office.
It’s disgraceful, both for the Country and the individual. Jill should be ashamed, let alone other responsible parties in the Administration.
