Completely false, dumb azz.
I've never worked for Nike, ever, though I was briefly sponsored by them decades ago.
Since then I've run in Nike, New Balance, Avia, Reebok, Puma, anything that caught my interest.

Doping = cheating
Obviously, yet you provide no evidence for Rupp doping

Really? Who cares? Honestly, It's sad that you consider a 3.85 in business at Oregon hate-worthy.

Once again 0/10 because your argument is irrelevant and pathetic

I am not "A Duck", and before I started this thread, I have maybe posted three times several years ago. I do not work for Nike and have no dog in this fight. I merely am providing an objective rendering of the facts and truth.
I know you're not me, and any half-way intelligent human being could see our completely different writing styles.
For the record, though not to pick a fight, I have no knowledge of your contentions about Schumaker's group or your accusations against them -- so much so that it comes to mind that you baked this crap up as a reverse psychological way to gain more attackers of Rupp.
Lastly, as I have often said, the Rupp haters are confined to this board -- and the type of lowlife unhappy people that would read shite here and believe it.
I never meet people that believe or spout LRC level bullsht in the stands at meets, or people behind the scenes -- they all think this board is a cesspool full of idiots.
It is and it has fallen even further each of the past few years.
Like I said, the whole point of posting this thread to begin with was merely to shed light on what I know. I felt it was unfairly portrayed by this site, and the mill of rumors has been allowed to run rampant without check on the message boards.
However, what I've written about Schumacher's group is 100% true.
I wouldn't say it is an accusation, as I do not believe thyroid medicine to be a form of doping or is really a "wrong". I would say it was a recognizing of what is indeed happening. I'm tired of seeing Galen torn to shreds for doing what the "other" group is also doing.
I have a feeling you and I have similar feelings in regards to these groups and their history. NOP is unfairly targeted, and rumors are circulated about them that teeter on fantasy.
A Duck wrote: ... you baked this crap up as a reverse psychological way to gain more attackers of Rupp...
Speaking of reverse psychology, you A Duck/Jack Frost, are guilty of using inverted reverse psychology.
jack frost wrote: Like I said, the whole point of posting this thread to begin with was merely to shed light on what I know...
It is so wonderful that what you say is the only possible truth. :-)
I heard from a friend, that trained with one of Galen's Oregon teammates who witnessed this, that Galen was extremely worried in the drug tent after a race about testing positive and was frantically talking to Salazar about it. I don't think they would lie.

I don't have any confidential medical records from Dr. Brown but I know what I know, and I believe the first-hand account from someone within the Schumacher camp. So I guess you will just have to decide what to believe. I can also guarantee you you won't have their camp come forward saying that they aren't/weren't under the care of Dr. Brown and using T3/4.
As to my biological passport claim, that was merely to dismiss the notion that Lance and Galen are analogous situations. Obviously cheating still exists, I just know for a fact it isn't happening in NOP.
This we agree on.
NOP is a clean program. Until a recent thread I held back (though I had permission) that Steve Magness had confirmed to me that NOP was a clean program and that he did not leave NOP due to any issue in that area.
Rojo knows this for a fact due to an email cc between Magness and myself, and Rojo can contact Magness any time to confirm it. --The email exchange came up as I outed Rojo to Magness, because Rojo sent me an email saying Magness knew NOP was "dirty." Rojo believe my email to he and his brother, and CC's to Magness, enough that he cc'd an apology to Magness/me.
My impression of Steve Magness is that he is vehemently anti-doping, and that he also hates the cesspool of libel that goes on by the crazies on this forum.

Sadly, I have encountered lies spawned from these boards in the real world. I recently spoke to a HS cross country team at the start of their season, and related my collegiate experiences to them, and answered a few questions. The first question came from an assistant coach, "Is it true that Galen is on drugs?"
So that was kind of an unfortunate experience.

And anyone using "owned" must be prepubescent.
And anyone using the name "yeah right" must be extremely immature very childish.
It was 2006, because that was when Galen was dealing with a string of illnesses he couldn't seem to shake, and that led to the thyroid problem being discovered. So much for the spirit of transparency!
Once again you have outdone yourself my friend.

What the hell are you even trying to say here? That Rupp cheating is a 'fact' based on insurmountable evidence that you are willing to share with us? That we have to accept? To me it sounds like you have nothing except speculation, but are either stupid/drunk enough to confuse this with fact.

Well, well, well you're SURE! eh? Seeing as you still have ZERO evidence for ANY of your claims, I find it hard to believe that you are 'sure' of anything.

Your post was bad enough that it overshadowed this typo, but honestly I don't even care at this point. The stupidity and frequency of bad, bad trolling in this thread makes me want to take laxatives and violently flush all the accumulated sh*t from reading this thread out of my body.
Brojos, if you want to survive as journalists in a niche sport like running, you really need to do something about the state of this board. You guys need to have the trust and respect of the athletes, and by enabling an atmosphere of countless, unsubstantiated, vile accusations on your home message board, you are only isolating yourselves.
I understand that nobody in this sport should be given the benefit of the doubt, but speculation and accusation without ANY physical evidence is bad for everyone involved.
What year was it that sleazy wrote about the impossibility of getting an Olympic medal without doping?

Some smart lab types and a good attorney can easily get around the above restrictions. Just find somethings that are approved for therapeutic use, and then add substances that can be claimed as not being pharmacological. Get the magic proportions of multiple substances balance just right and bam, you can overtrain and avoid the typical injuries associated with overtraining.
This is so stupid. Smart attorney's have no power of WADA or CAS.
There is no way Salazar is risking his legacy and his career at Nike by doping his athletes.
To do so, he might as well put a gun to his head. Everything he cares about would be one long game of Russian roulette, and he is nor wired that way.

Plus, he cares too much about his athletes, on a personal level, to ever do anything to them that would put them in any sort of jeopardy. Another deep dark secret that Letsrun.com doesn't want you to know is that Alberto Salazar is really a great guy.
There is a gray area. It is known as the things to learn about and ban in the future. Professional athletes are always looking for a special edge. There is money to be made by staying "sharp."

Typical of A Duck; two grammar errors in six words. A fine education from that clown college in Eugene. For Rupp's and Sleazy's sakes, let's just hope that NOPe has some pharmacists a lot smarter than anyone coming out of that degree mill.

Salazar is the biggest jerk I've ever been around. Of course, that was in the 70's and 80's. Maybe he changed a whole, whole lot.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
