If there was a coverup so that he could still compete and they hid the positive test, that’s an issue
people compete with a cold all the time. only since we gave it the name covid people think these people need to hide in a closet.
COVID is nothing special anymore. get over it.
sorry but the science says you're wrong. it affects the body in ways the cold cannot. and if you don't believe that, you don't believe in modern medicine and should just start seeing a witch doctor.
I mean, it's dogsh*t on pretty much every platform. The amount of background ads and crap that force the pages to reload makes it feel like I'm in 1998.
i can’t see this being true. what if the medical staff that carried lyles off catches covid and goes home and gives it to their elderly mother. Just doesn’t seem plausible to them to just knowingly allow a athlete with covid to compete.
Even if Lyles was 100% Teboho clearly had too much. Running 19:45 while celebrating 50m out? He should have run 19:20 or lower - no way Lyles was matching that.
That is an unbelievably false statement
Watch the race again and check when Teboho deliberately decelerates, not the fist pump.
Could be that he has Covid but has not tested positive yet. Last time I had Covid my worst day was the day before I actually tested positive. My first day feeling sick I tested negative. If he felt like crap yesterday but tested negative, they couldn't keep him out.

I did. Stop lying. It wasn’t much of a deceleration even though he broke his form. You sound like the idiots that say Bolt would have run 9.4 in Beijing.

COVID is not a big deal for most people at this point, and it's not likely to be transmitted outside. Perfectly reasonable to let someone compete with it now, as with a cold or the flu.
Would still expect it to hurt an elite athlete on the margin.
