I realized he only gave that order of the race is sub 3:27 but I don’t think it will be quite that fast.

I know Jakob rarely trains at all-out pace and doesn't really do simulated races. But I wonder if he would've tried a solo time trial to see what he's capable of when he has to lead the whole way. You'd think it would help him strategize when he needs to go out in front and how hard he can push doing that.
I think that's what he did with Monaco - as best as he could mentally - despite the rabbits... to mentally and physically feel what it would be like, get that pace into his legs for the full race. Of course, he may have tried simulating it in practice, too... in any case, I think Kerr and others are prepared.
My prediction: a photo is gonna be needed for determining at least two of the medalists! Talk about detail...
