France just gave Le Pen 37 percent of the vote in the most recent elections and Macron had to tactically withdraw. Furthermore Le Pen was only 17 percent of the vote last elections. The “far right” is actually a very formidable force in Europe, maybe not UK but other places it flourishes. That’s why there’s huge news on them.
it does look like western nations are simply going to attempt to crack down on immigration because the electorates demand it. This is suicide of course, but racial tribalism is strong in humanity. Rich nations do not want poor brown people coming to live and work, they just don't. And rich nations don't like to have babies either.
not a winning combination. populations will shrink and that's terrible for our economic systems.
but anti-immigration will be a center of western politics for a long time. Interestingly, this should help the US because immigration is basically unstoppable here. We should have among the best demographics among rich nations because of all the young hispanics coming here. We win again.
Things become much easier, and things become much clearer when you stop viewing people by the color of their skin and view everyone as valuable human beings. Embracing different cultures.
For the French election , Marine Le Pen's right-wing party got over 10 million votes but only 142 seats. ▪️The left wing got 7 million votes and 180 seats. ▪️Macrons party (centrist left) got 6.7 million votes and 159 seats. In France the right is growing. Le Pen’s Party was a joke in 2017 with less than 10 percent of the vote and this year Macron had to team up with an opposing party to defeat Le Pen. Furthermore, the implications of this split are that policies will be difficult to get votes on , because in France (with multiple parties) , politicians don’t behave like a hive mind. There will be lots of split voting and close votes and disagreements and negotiations. Politics in France are looking questionable and uncertain for an average French citizen because of this divide.

That is the second round stats, what you have to remember is not every candidate was on the ballot in the second round.
In the first round National Rally got 9M, New Popular Front got 9M and Ensemble got nearly 7M.
Final thoughts. 37% of the popular vote going to the RN in the second round, up from 17% two years ago. That's a big gain in a multi-party system. A higher vote share than Labour got in the UK, but different voting systems yield radically different outcomes (democracy is not clearly defined). It basically required a completely united left wing fully co-operating with the centrists to keep them out of power. The problem for France is that with a hung parliament there's a risk none of the issues that caused the RN to surge will be addressed, pushing the country even further towards them in the next elections.
37.4% of the popular vote went to National Rally and its allies (doubled since 2022 election)
26.9% for the far left New Popular Front
22.3% for Macron and his "centrist" allies
Most mainstream news articles about the left's "shock win" in France fail to mention the popular vote totals, for obvious reasons. Labour's "landslide" in the UK was achieved with a mere 34% of the popular vote getting them 64% of the seats in parliament.
Oceans of liberal tears were shed in 2016 and for years after because Hillary "beat" Trump by 2% of the popular vote.
Americans trying to shoehorn memes about their completely different political system as desperate cope.
I guess that world history class was a bit too woke for our friend here
Lots more cope this morning. This was supposed to be the moment for the right in Europe. They failed totally and were out maneuvered by the neoliberal establishment. That’s not how the story is supposed to go!
This is what Iran looked like in 1979 before the Islamic revolution. Apparently Europe wants to live under sharia law. Ultimately, libs won't enjoy it.

Muslims do not have separation of church and state in any country they control.
There's no such thing as a secular muslim unless they are living in a country that is majority non-muslim.
It baffles me that these leftists loathe Christians with a passion but embrace muslims who practice a 7th century religion that make the westboro baptists seem like atheist hippies just because they're "brown" people.
