Bryce Hopple said in an interview the other day that he's going for 1:42. This should be fun to watch.

Holy crap, what a wild, weird, cool race. It's nice to see something really different.
So much for Hocker and Woody outkicking Grant, I guess.
Great race from Abdi, and from Graham. Holy moley did he come back strong from a rough year.
Ready for Kessler to fade to 1:46
and a 13:10 would have gotten him to Paris. that's totally in his wheelhouse. might not get a better chance.

Wolfe should now have 1207 average points score just short of the needed 1218. Looks like Blanks is going to Paris

this. the road to paris isnt hard to use and before this, Wolfe was miles behind Blanks and even Olin Hacker. He was behind Jacobs and Muhumed too
Blanks to Paris

1218 is #42 on the quota
He's currently at 74th in 5000m with 1168 points
1230, 1152, 1123. 1123 (random outdoor 13:27) gets replaced by 1173 points for 13:10 + 50 for 1223 total
So (1230 + 1223 + 1152) / 3 = 1201. Not high enough. Don't think he makes it
The system seems unfair to young collegians having breakout seasons like Wolfe. He’s only - what - 20 years of age? He hasn’t had time to go to Europe or race the circuit and garner points. Blanks is a well-deserved 3rd pick, but rewarded over Wolfe for having his breakout a year earlier really.
