Very young 1500m final. Craig Engels is the only guy I think you could consider a veteran in the race.

Two U of Washington guys in the final.
Hobbs nearly stumbled again early but stayed in it. He sat on Nuguse for safe path home - good strategy for final too.
Salhman is going to be great but his (very understandable) lack of experience showed up huge there. Spent most of the race in lane 2 and surging way too much.
which is like a 50/50 chance. if one of the big 3 doesn't make it, it will be him because of a blunder.
I am very impressed by Kessler. Smart tactics, no wasted energy, and he looks great at the finish. Hocker, Nuguse and Kessler looks like a solid trifecta. Box it.
Wynne too, although he's still on the good side of 30
Big PB for Cook. He's had a nice season. Won Pac 12, 2nd in NCAA, now makes trials final.
Those 3 are definitely our strongest team. I won't be surprised if the final is fast to separate the true medal contenders from the pack.
Blame it on Nuguse
Gotcha feeling loose
There was a thread here wondering why Sha'Carri Richardson is so popular. It's because whether you like her or dislike her, it's hard to look away. I think she's infectiously charming when she's in a good mood. Maybe not so much when she's in a bad mood, but whatever...
Omg she is so gorgeous. I'm glad she hasn't let all you dweebs break her spirit.
I like her breezy low-key look!

Teare is the only other person with the standard. Unless the final is fast it's pretty much guaranteed to be those 3
False. There are a few guys who would get in on ranking: Wynne, Ciattei and Engels.
Serious question. I’ve only seen cook race 4 or 5 times. Does he just run the minimum distance and stay in lane 1 always . Even when he’s totally boxed he just stays there and waits for the home straight for everyone to drift and passes on the inside. Did it at pac 12 ncaa and both races today

Wynne is another veteran. He looks smooth in that race and is my dark horse to make that team
The goose is very clearly on the joose. Dude went from a 3:50 mile to 3:43.

Time for Holt to get a real job again
I can't wait to hear how Holt and his fans spin this.
"I’m not someone just chasing a pipe dream. I am not an underdog. I am definitely one of the favorites...I can beat anyone on the world stage. I don’t say that lightly. I know what I’m capable of."
Yasssss Kaylyn, that's what we like to see.
Sometimes it seems like Cooper Teare is not that good BUT…
