Back on the 800: I still have Moraa as favourite. She can win too many ways and I think both Mu and Hodgkinson will struggle to respond to her bizarre tactics in the final
W200m will be hot. I’ve still got Jackson ftw, she really knows how to run it.
In the M200m, I’m taking Tebogo ftw. The balance coming off that curve, the hip position, the cycling…he will have plenty left down the straight. It will be killer!
Richardson will win and LYLES WILL DEFEND my predictions

LOL what's Moraa's record against both of them? (not counting heats)

I don’t know the lane draws, but wow it will be interesting.
I have no doubt in a DL event with pacing that she pulls a "Crammy" (surely some people here will get that reference) and an 800 vs any of these women. I think she is capable of running under 1.55 which I don't think this field is. That's not to say she wins this championship auto but having seen her power in the last laps of the 1500, if they were to go through in 58 in the final would you bet against her being able to close out in the low 57's? I wouldn't.
She closed her 1500 this week in 56.5, so hard to imagine there’s a plausible first lap that would break her where she can’t compete to the line in any 800. She’s also a racing genius, she would easily master the tactics and positioning. Sure, she will probably move up someday soon and dominate the 10, but that’s sort of boring. Faith v Mu v Keely (v Moraa) in a championship 800! Now that’s compelling theater. If she does a 800-5000 triple it would eclipse the Hassan 1500-10 triple I think. I have no idea if such a thing is remotely possible in Paris.
Not that it's absolutely impossible, but an 800-5000 triple is getting greedy. Even if the schedule allows it, that's a lot of prelims. A lot.

SCR is playing with house money. Nothing to lose and everything to gain, so in a great position to run her best. Zero pressure. Still, Jackson and Gabby and Alfred are likely just too good for her over this distance right now.
Kitaguchi looks like an escapee from a divorcee's hen night: bingo wings, spindly legs, and a beer belly. It obviously works for her, but it's very strange in this age of increasingly athletic-looking javelin throwers.
