If you have an honest argument, please make it. To claim you can't tell the biological sex of 99% of the people you see (in skimpy running clothes) at the start of a running race is simply dishonest. Also, their sex is not "whatever the runner writes down", that's gender expression, not sex.
Yes, that's what I'm saying. Races are divided by gender not sex at every single level (aside from the very very very top). There are not race officials inspecting people's genitals at the start line to make sure everyone entered the thier sex assigned at birth catagory. You clearly have a closed mind. You can make all the assumptions you want about peoples gender AND sex, but at the end of the day you have no idea what sex they are. What you see on the outside is their gender, dumbas*.
They aren't divided by "gender" as a socially-defined category, they are divided by a biological category of sex. That is the reason why there have been sex tests in elite sport and why athletes such as Semenya have been identified as DSD male, because they have tested for male levels of testosterone. It is why there is this ongoing debate about whether biological males who identify as female should be able to compete against women. If there was no objective requirement that being female is a biological fact and not simply what some one thinks or says they are then none of this would be an issue.
Capitals aside, those competing in the non-binary category are whatever they say they are. That means that some will be biologically male but perceive themselves as female or "other" - or they would not be "non-binary". As a biological category it is meaningless - unlike male and female sports. It is a social category only. Like belonging to a certain club.
You literal as*hat. Since when have you been required to prove your biological sex when signing up for a race? It's literally divided by gender. Again, back to my point for all you pea brained motherfu*kers . . . YOU DONT KNOW THEIR SEX BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THEIR GENITALS. It's whatever the runner writes down (aka their expression). You sitting in your armchair have no authority of who anyone's gender. You literally can't even prove to me that the men's and women's pro catagory winners are their biologically male or female.
If there was any doubt about their biological sex they could be tested - as DSD male athletes like Semenya were - with the result "she" can no longer compete in "her" chosen events against women. So biology trumps what anyone says they are.
Either marriage, sex, and people matter or they don't. You chose this path with the "you do you" attitude which is a position of cowardice and illogical. The only reason you were even able to have this opinion is because you lived in the ashes of a strong Christian society that was built. Until you understand this and change we will continue to see this stuff
Has Mara Yamauchi got anything to say about running anymore? Seriously, her Twitter is 99% about 1 thing. Just these past few days she's tweeted about her complaint to a radio quiz because a contestant wasn't outed by the presenter, and how a big source of anger for women worldwide is actually #womanface

Yamauchi published a book on running, "Marathon Wisdom," earlier this year. Interview with her about it from July:
oh no, has this site become fox news! I wonder when Tucker and that crew will start blogging on this site, LMAO!
Do you think advocating for female only sports is a conservative position? Safeguarding female sports is traditionally a feminist and progressive position.
NEW YORK — New York Attorney General Letitia James on Friday sent Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman a cease-and-desist order threatening “decisive legal action” if the Republican official doesn’t “immediately rescind” hi...
Your title (and possibly attitude) is wrong. gender identity can and should have a place in all sport EXCEPT the highest streams of competitive sport pathways (and contact/combat sport).
If you're against recreational participation, grow up.
For nearly 40 years, the NYC Marathon has been known for being a trailblazer that paid its male and female athletes the same prize money. Sadly, that changed on Sunday. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what sex dominated the new non-binary gender division at Sunday's 2022 New York City Marathon.
