A few of the top runners dropped out late in the race. I wonder if it was similar to Teare.

I agree with this, Bush has improved significantly this year. She certainly has locked in a top 5 position. Starliper and Rauber, hopefully coming along along as well.
Any idea if Walters is healthy? I haven't heard any discussion around her for a while.
Just found out someone stepped on her spike and her shoe came off after recovering she ran the last 5k with one shoe. Move her up to equal with Brynn Brown would be a 50 point swing. All but her are frosh eligibility wise.

At ACC and regional she was within 10 seconds of Bush of NC State who finished 32nd. 10 seconds back of her was about 50th, 40th in team race. That would have gotten them up close to Ole Miss who finished 10th.
Before the season I posted them at potentially about 6th, assuming Masciarelli and Brown would run near Hofstad and Harrington. Obviously this did not work out for Masciarelli, but if it had, and without this Hofstad mishap they would have been right with Minnesota who finished 7th.
They do have a lot of young runners with potential.
I was not a fan of the course tbh. It was way too congested the first 2k. I notice that the Florida runners who knew the course were careful to position themselves at the very front bc they knew what the course would be like with the high number of runners and the narrow course and turns and dark areas. To some degree it will always be crowded at Nationals, but there was no way to avoid getting clipped in that mess.

Ankle sprain.

Katelyn Tuohy in 16th, best placing for her year group (everyone that placed ahead of her was older in years)
Continues on this path and she will be tearing it up soon.
It sounds like she fell badly at the mile mark.
