So many deaths of fellow Americans could have been avoided. So many Americans would not have suffered from long haul covid if more Americans would have been vaccinated.

Biden said Trump "should not remain as President of the United States of America" back on 10/23 because 220,000 Americans had died from the coronavirus
250,000 Americans are now dead on Biden's watch despite him having multiple highly effective vaccines from his day 1 in office.
Haven't posters been predicting precisely this kind of "reasoning," on this thread and others? Yes, the vaccines are available--but people refuse to take them. (And then if Biden requires people to take them, he's excoriated for abridging freedoms.)
This is *exactly* what some predicted: That the deniers would suddenly find the CDC's numbers credible, and talk about "deaths under Biden"--which occurred *precisely* because Americans of this ilk wouldn't do the things that would result in fewer deaths.

Yes, Biden brought the highly effective vaccine to the masses.
Many refused to take and and they make up a large majority of deaths this summer.
Is it Biden's fault vaccine uptake was so low? Maybe? Ok, so now he is mandating it, surely that will solve the uptake problem.
You either blame him for the deaths and accept the mandate, or refuse the mandate and don't blame him for the deaths, you can't do both.

Death is cool now that it owns the libs!
Biden should have done more from the fun to combat vaccine refusal. But at the end of the day he cannot force people to do the one, easy, cheap thing to protect themselves and others.
Biden lied, people died.

It's just all so nuanced and complex. We need to be careful to avoid sweeping generalizations if we want to have any sort of rational conversation.
Hey, what's this "on the one hand...on the other hand" crap? What site do you think you're on?
Here on LRC we forgo that "nuance" crap, pick opinions in advnce, and then look for anything that might support them. (And anything that *does* support them, we call evidence.) In fact it's *easier* to form and express strong opinions when they're not diluted by the base alloy of fact.
WARNING: As of 2 weeks ago, Harambe became a dues paying member of the executive club. I criticized him and it got me banned for a day or two. Can't blame the BroJos for extending special privileges to anyone who hands them a hundred dollars a year, but it means two different sets of rules for VIPs and those of us in the peanut gallery. Beware of the club member symbol before you reply.

He's probably used to paying men for sex so it's not surprising he'd pay to protect his propaganda.

When asked by reporters about the emphasis that will be placed on vaccination, Ladapo said he plans to treat the vaccines like "any other preventative issue."
"Vaccines are up to the person. There is nothing special about them compared to any other preventative measure," Ladapo said.
"The state should be promoting good health, and vaccination isn't the only path to that. It's been treated almost like a religion and it's senseless," he said. "...We support measures for good health — vaccinations, losing weight, exercising, eating more fruits and vegetables, everything."

Florida remains the epicenter of the 'pandemic of the unvaccinated.'

Lets see.. vaccines are cheaper, more effective, and easier to comply with than practically every other intervention we have!
Florida is choosing the insane path of spending $10k per patient on antibody therapy rather than $20 per patient on vaccines. Brilliant!

Much like Pheidippides, DanM returns at full-sprint, after his ban, to shout his wisdom: self-serving, left field anecdotes with little bearing on the larger scope, outside of confirming his flailing bias.
Bravo, my good man. Deflect from your own shortcomings and keep hammering Harambe as the problem! It's all HARAMBE'S fault!

The boards did seem unusually intelligent for a day or two... makes sense now.
