Literally no one cares about you or your made up life story. The Russians are committing massive war crimes, including possible genocide. Those people's "equal rights" are the ones I care about, not some Putin bot trying to distract from war crimes.
Yes. I can. But, even if I couldn't, what's your point? That the Ukrainians should be okay with being the victims of Russian war crimes because the US has committed war crimes elsewhere? And, if that's not your point, then why bring it up unless you're trying to justify Russian war crimes?
Hypocrisy. America/Israel invades and attacks numerous nations, killing far more non combatants than Russia ever has and the media and the pols justify it and the suckers go along, focusing solely on Russian crimes.
Where was the media, the pols, where were you, when Ukraine was bombing Donbas and Donetsk for 8 years before the Russians invaded?
Great. So, start another thread on US/Israel war crimes. This thread is about Russian invading Ukraine, so don't be surprised when the focus is on Russia. Again, I'm sure your concern about American hypocrisy is very comforting to the Ukrainian women being raped by Russian soldiers.
How many Russian soldiers has Russia actually held accountable for war crimes in Chechnya, Georgia, or Ukraine? How were these war crimes covered in Russian media? Were they even acknowledged? Russia can't even acknowledge that they supplied the missile that shot down MH17, a civilian airplane.
Coverage by the Russian media has differed from coverage in most other countries and has changed significantly over time. According to Bellingcat, these changes have usually been in response to new evidence published by DSB and the investigation team. According to a poll conducted by the Levada Center between 18 and 24 July 2014, 80% of Russians surveyed believed that the crash of MH17 was caused by the Ukrainian military. Only 3% of respondents blamed the disaster on the pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. Researchers said views were influenced by the televisual infosphere. In the three days following the incident, the Russian Internet Research Agency "troll farm" posted 111,486 tweets from fake accounts. Mostly posted in Russian, the tweets initially said the rebels had shot down a Ukrainian airplane, but quickly switched to accusing Ukraine of carrying out the attack. This is both the largest number of tweets in any 24 hour period, and for any topic in the history of the Internet Research Agency (IRA). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_17#Russian_media_coverage
The US media has been extremely critical of the US causing civilians deaths in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. I'll leave it to you to type a few words into google and find the coverage (unless you're in Russia, where Putin doesn't want you actually reading and thinking for yourself, so he blocked access to anything that doesn't fit the official narrative lies). US soldiers have been tried and convicted by US courts in these cases. You can't say the same about any Russian soldiers despite the atrocities that they've committed in multiple wars in multiple countries.
You realize that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, the same year they sent soldiers to fight in Dontesk and Luhansk, don't you? So, yes I've been well-aware that Ukraine was bombing separatists and Russians in Eastern Ukraine for the last 8 years. Why do you think the US has been sending weapons and providing training to the Ukrainian military that whole time. Or, are you conveniently forgetting that aspect of the last 8 years?
Here is an article in Russian state media that is calling for genocide against the Ukrainian people.
"Denazification is necessary when a significant part of the people - most likely the majority - has been mastered and drawn into the Nazi regime in its politics. That is, when the hypothesis "the people are good - the government is bad" does not work. Recognition of this fact is the basis of the policy of denazification, of all its measures, and the fact itself is its subject matter."
Еще в апреле прошлого года мы писали о неизбежности денацификации Украины. Нацистская, бандеровская Украина, враг России и инструмент Запада по уничтожению... РИА Новости, 05.04.2022
Sadly lots of mass murders are coming to light now.
I'm sure liar Carmine, banned adult, crap predictor Wigins etc will all say it wasn't the Russians and it is an American/Israeli issue and Putin is completely free of blame, but him and his Army Generals should be put on trial for war crimes ASAP.

No threads on US/Israel war crimes allowed.
You know that.
The US media has been extremely critical of US causing civilian deaths! Talk about the Big Lie. US killing people in Syria and Somalia right now. Where are all the Syrian flags?
Russia did not invade Ukraine in 2014. The US govt did overthrow the elected govt of Ukraine in 2014 though. Did you know that?
How would you like it if Russia overthrew the Canadian govt, installed a puppet govt, and began sending weapons and training to Canada to fight America?

1. No. The US gov't did not overthrow the elected government of Ukraine in 2014 (having spoken with multiple people who lived in Kyiv at the the time and who spent significant amounts of time at Euromaidan, and having personally visited Kyiv in November 2014, where I saw significant Ukrainian pride at various ceremonies to mark the 1 year anniversary of the start of Euromaidan, I would say that I'm quite aware of recent Ukrainian politics.)
2. Yes, they did. In February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. That you can't acknowledge this shows just how disingenuous all of your posts trying to justify Russian aggression really are.
3. Are you claiming that Ukraine would have attacked Russia after 2014 and so Russia had to invade Crimea and send soldiers and equipment to Dontesk or Luhansk to prevent those attacks?

Even if they did how would that give us the right to bomb their cities to rubble, indiscriminately killing women and children. You and the other Putin sympathizers seem to think that past bad acts by the US justify Russia's behavior. Nothing justifies it.
Literally no one cares about you or your made up life story. The Russians are committing massive war crimes, including possible genocide. Those people's "equal rights" are the ones I care about, not some Putin bot trying to distract from war crimes.
Genocide?! Do you even know the meaning of the word?
I am not distracting. All war criminals should be punished. No excuses.

You, our media, our pols all justify the far worse, far more inexcusable actions of US/Israel.

For example, Skripal was in Russian jail before alleged poisoning
So why send him to Britain and then try to poison? Why not to allow him to stay in prison and kill him there?
Although if you're looking for a motive from Britain intelligence you can find one easily
Gee, you don't think that dying in a Russian prison might create a better trail to Putin than Skripal dying outside prison? Moreover, that is but one example countered by other deaths and imprisonments.

How did I justify it? I was completely against the invasion of Iraq and interventions in Libya and Panama. Regardless of what the US or Israel has done how does that justify the destruction of Ukraine? Shouldn't Russia strive to be better?

As a card carrying leftist, I will readily admit that a number of people on the left have really gotten the situation in Ukraine very, very wrong. John Pilger was going on and on in 2014 about how the Maidan revolution was a right wing coup sponsored by the US that would lead to a right wing US client state. But the right wing ultranationalist groups that were at the forefront of Maidan (mostly because they were willing to go to violently respond to government violence against peaceful protests) never found any political traction after the revolution. In 2019, a coalition of the ultranationalists (Svoboda, Right Sector, etc.) ran as a block in the parliamentary elections and only got 2.15% of the vote. Zelensky ran on an anti-war platform and got 73% of the vote. But many on the left continue to treat Maidan like it was the same as the US support for Pinochet, the Shah of Iran or Suharto. Just because the US has a long history of supporting bad guys in regime change doesn't mean that the Maidan revolution was just another in a long line of US backed coups. It wasn't.
Then, you have the problem with the left not being able to come to terms with the fact that it is now clear that Russia really is a very dangerous regime and the left is still trying to cling to a narrative that lays blame at US/NATO diplomatic failures. If NATO was really a concern, Russia would have spent its time in Ukraine taking out military bases, airfields, etc. and would not be engaging in the wholesale destruction of cities and villages. Russia's objective in Ukraine is not a military objective. It is a political objective. Ukraine stood up to Russia in the 2014 Maidan revolution and Putin since then has been out to destroy Ukraine. It is no coincidence that the current war in Ukraine began in February to coincide with the Maidan anniversary. Bucha is just going to be the beginning in Ukraine.
Then, you have the problem with the left not being able to come to terms with the fact that it is now clear that Russia really is a very dangerous regime and the left is still trying to cling to a narrative that lays blame at US/NATO diplomatic failures.
Strange, considering the only people I hear making these arguments are right-wingers or Russian socks puppet. Who are these people on the left that are having trouble coming to terms that Russia is a dangerous regime? Are you taking about Tulsi and Greenwald?
