Meanwhile the US is pumping ever more oil, jobs are plentiful, and your party leader is a criminal, under investigation by the feds and in two states. We already knew he was an unindicted co-felon, but this just keeps getting worse. Quite a rap sheet, law and order people.
Oh hey look, jobs. Today:
Initial jobless claims improved more than expected in the latest weekly data to reach a two-month low, as the U.S. labor market recovery pressed ahead while Omicron-related disruptions retreated.
At 215,000, the number of new jobless claims marked a back-to-back week of declines. It was also the lowest level since the week ended Dec. 31, when jobless claims totaled 207,000.

Where do you get your talking points. It seems you are the one who is a fan of opinion pieces ... or should I say propaganda pieces. Do you ever think on your own or do you just suck up on the liberal talking points and regurgitate those?
...but nothing will ever happen to the Trumps because they are above the law.
This criminal will be the next president.
Kyle Cheney @kyledcheney BREAKING: The Jan. 6 select committee says it believes Donald Trump violated multiple laws in his quest to overturn the 2020 election — including obstruction of Congress and defrauding the United States.
Just another reminder that the tape with Trump explicitly asking a state leader for 11,000 votes to win a federal election has been out for many, many months (nearly a year?), but SOMEHOW that apparently doesn't clearly violate any federal law ???
We have laws for EVERYTHING. But somehow, we don't have laws about clearly trying to steal a federal election?
Or is it more about will? Yeah, probably that?
I once served in a unit explicitly tasked with, among other things, supporting the "rule of law" in Afghanistan. Wow, how much the Afghans and so many other "non-first-world" people must be scratching their heads and/or laughing at the U.S. for our apparent gross hypocrisy.

This is a remarkably stupid idea for many reasons.
But I got to thinking that it might be good politics and good for the planet. There have been reports that a new green-heavy version of BBB is in the works. What if we throw Keystone XL into the bill as a way to give cover to Manchin and maybe even a few Republicans?
At this point Keystone XL is unlikely to be completed even if the permit went through. Some company would need to take over the project because it is now fully abandoned by the developer. And the rest of the stuff in BBB would cause oil demand to plummet so Keystone would not be economically viable by the time it is completed.
I wonder if the letter above was Manchin's try at political chess, giving him a way he could support the new BBB without political blowback.

Serious questions. How many times has it been said, by you and others, that the walls are closing in? Why should we take anything you say seriously?
Related, the Russia hoax, seriously, how do you look at yourself in the mirror after that one? Why do any of you think you have ANY credibility? Do you have any ability to self reflect? Learn from your mistakes?
Or are you just a paid troll? It has to be one or the other. In either case you are, in fact, a resident, in your own clown world.

you dope the US Senate, when controlled by Republicans, said the Russians and Trumpers worked together to elect Donald Trump. It's not a hoax. It is established fact. So just stop it with the 'hoax' talk.
This might be a dilemma, but it's not an impossible decision. If Trumpers revolt again at his indictment or conviction, juts lock them up. They just should be prepared for the places to protect. The alternative is really, really bad.

We just have this foolish idea that the justice system will actually work like it is supposed to.
But we also know that when it comes to the rich and powerful, that rarely happens.
