I watched the video, and it's hard to tell given Mary drops so far back the camera can't catch her while following the lead pack. But I was able to see just enough on some of the shots that, to my eye, it appeared she was in the race until at least until rounding the back turn and approaching straight before the two lap mark. After that there appeared to me one less straggler, so if I had to make an educated guess, think she dropped at the two lap mark, which would make sense if she wanted to make a quick exit off the track and avoid the cameras.
A very sad race. It did not feel like a comeback in any way. It felt more like the end of a once promising career.
I saw her in the background on a shot after 1200m. It was certainly more than just the two laps it took her to get dropped, but we are splitting hairs at this point.
