Looks like Clayton Murphy led with 200m to go, but finished in 7th.

Wonder why they end the meet with the men's 400-the field is less than stellar. Should have ended with the steeplechase.
Kszczot wins 1:44.39.
1:45.15 Murphy
was it just me, or did it look like he got cut off, and lost his stride? I don't mean to make excuses for him, could be he just led too much. Sucky race. Nobody went with the pacer, they went through around 51. pretty shitty race.
Can we get more of this?
Surprised Murphy came back to run the 800- he certainly peaked at Rio.
queen morris 5m!

Probably for the home crowd, the 3 Borlees and another Belgian are in it

And another year goes by without the elusive sub-8:00 for Jager. I hope he isn't stuck with a 8:00.xx PR for the rest of his life...
Another year? IT's the first year since 2010 that there hasn't been one.

Serious question - did you even read that post before you responded?

Reading is fundamental.

Rojo. Re-read. He said another year without a sub 8 from Jager, not everyone.

Morris vault- MR, AR and Diamond League record. How much would that earn her?

Surprised and pleased that they actually kept the camera on the finish line all the way through that.
About what I expected.
Definitely a home run, especially considering its overdistance and she does not train for the 5k. I would not be surprised if Shannon or another American runs a few seconds quicker next year.
First time in history that 3 women have gone under 14:30 in the same 5K race. Also the 4th sub 14:20 for ayana, no other woman has done it more than twice (g. dibaba and defar).
For the metrically challenged how high did Morris jump in feet and inches?
about 16 feet 4 inches. She can pole vault me anytime!
