That may be the best pole vaulting pic I have ever seen.

Lemaitre still a very solid 3rd in 20.08, crushed all the other big names

Has he been diagnosed with a thyroid problem to lean up?
19.68 is about what Gatlin should run if he's doing ~9.80. I didn't think he liked doing the speed endurance for that.
Now, 19.26 or less...that is to the gills.
Holy s. That 2.37 clearance by Barshim!

I'd love to see Barshim dunk a basketball. He'd hit his knees on the rim.
Huling sporting a Jager haircut (or lack thereof). That is going to make it hard to distinguish.
Not really a fair comparison. Mary prepping for WJC - hasn't even been running internationally this year. She is also 2 years younger than Wilson. Didn't Cain also beat Wilson indoors this year along with Chanelle Price and Molly Beckwith in the 1000m, smashing her own WJ record? I think she beat them all pretty easily, too.
Cain will be running internationally in Aug and Sept. We'll all find out then how competitive she is internationally this year.
Defeat is the best thing that could happen to Asbel. Stoke his (friendly) rivalry with Silas and spur him to come out better next year. Same for Rudisha. If he wins everything when he's not back to his best he might not see the need to push himself harder.
jager = headband
WOW. Did anyone else just see Barshim clear 2.37 by AT LEAST 6-8 cm? He might actually have a shot at that WR today.
Ezekiel Kemboi isn't in the steeple today? I wanted to see him dance.
nah, check barshim's feet. he always clips with his heels in big jumps
his body was 2:40+ but his feet had nowhere to go, maybe a cm or two
off the track - put it somewhere else
What is Pepiot doing in this field?
Where is the steeplechase? They keep showing something else.
A Mexican long jumper? God, he could leap over the... bor... der...
Jager a few seconds off AR pace.
Jager 4:52 with 3 to go?
Could get it if he hangs on well.

It's certainly a fair comparison. Just look at how they perform on a global scale- Wilson is winning diamond league events, contending for global medals and Cain is not. Nothing wrong with that, Cain is younger and will probably get there in a few years but you can not possibly make the argument that Cain is more competitive on a global scale than Ajee Wilson.
