Please provide the test results as nobody else in the world was able to.
Sure he admitted to it , fact is he never tested positive.

Oh, yes they were. 1999. Corticosteroid.
In 2005 it was revealed that six of his urine samples from 1999 also tested positive for EPO.

What are you blabbering about now? He had TUEs for corticos for years because of his cancer.
The EPO tests were inconclusive and didn't count as positives.
Even if you want to accept that as fact, look at all of the 2000s, when he asserted his dominance and change the record books and had money. Pasted thousands of tests, blood and urine and biological passport.
The tue was backdated, made up on the spot after the positive test. Do your research, don't believe the bs from Lance. Believe everyone else. He is a doper, that's already an accomplished fact.

The post I responded to claimed Lance never tested positive .. ever. nada .. not one .. and that post is incorrect.
He got a post-test written prescription from his druggie doctor to cover up the cortico +ve.
You might want to re-read up about those EPO +ves.
The tests meant nothing, it was proven guys were still on epo and doing transfusions, big time doping. Testing was/is basically an IQ test. So easy to pass it. Besides, there were many rumours that Lance was getting a free pass and some of his positive tests were covered up.
might have helped him
the fact he payed the UCI 100,000
You can not possibly know that "nobody" is going to win Olympic Gold then start doping!!? People do all kinds of crazy things. Doping to maintain your level of performance is not "irrational".[/quote]
If you did not dope to get to that level it is

I'd like to see some documentation on this.
In a ten year career, you're telling me he was tested more than 100 times per year? And do you have any data to show what percentage of those, if any, were blood tests? And didn't he finally retire before the bio passport came into use?
Again I don't know that I agree, but that's moot anyway--people do irrational things all the time.

But it was still a positive drug test, right?

I don't know that I agree with this. While what you say might make sense in one rational world, it might not be the case in the real world of some athletes.
In any case, I wouldn't use it as a guide to judge who is doping and who is not, at any given point in time.
In the real world they have doped to that gold or not at all
Unless you are the sort of person who believes Jones only started doping in 2000
I believe she didn't start doping until around 2000 when hooked up with Graham.

Even his toughest critics would laugh at this. Tested every day of the Tour once he was relevant, often multiple times (before/after), randomly by USADA alone 5-10x a year, many more by WADA. And it spans longer than 10 years. He got tested twice in 2012 when he was training for triathalons by USADA! That doesn't include additional tests from WADA and beyond.

No, he had a TUE at the time, so of course it is going to be in his urine. I am amazed people care about his getting caught with corticos a year after coming back from cancer, I would be amazed if he didn't. Call those positives and you still have hundreds to thousands of clean tests while he was dirty as hell.

I assume you're trolling, but just in case you are a clueless @sshole, the "cancer" angle wasn't even the excuse Armstrong fabricated at the time to explain away the cortisone positive. He produced the backdated TUE -- which, by the way, he has subsequently admitted was bogus -- and "explained" that the cortisone had been a cream he had been using for a saddle-sore.
Get out of here with your blithering nonsense.

Cleaner that Carmelita Jeter. What makes people think Allison Felix may be clean as well? Just because she is nice and has a big smile?hahaha
I find it interesting that people with this response about AF think Bolt is clean. I always hear that Bolt was a gifted sprinter from a very young age. The same is true of Felix! If you truly believe that Bolt is clean then you have no intelligent argument against Felix. You can't have it both ways!
This is a general passing comment.
It truly amazes me on a forum which such knowledgeable people on Track and Field, that some don't get the basic logical concepts.
1. Passing Drug Tests does not mean an athlete is not taking ped's, infact passing a drug test is standard. The whole point of spending thousands on a top chemist is that you get provided with PED'S which allow you to PASS the test, have people not learnt anything from BALCO and how many athletes were passing tests left right and centre whilst being doped to the moon.
2. To believe Athletes like Usain Bolt are 100% PED free is retarded beyond belief. To believe that mean you believe a clean athlete can destroy WR times set by athletes doped out of their minds, it also requires you to believe he is destroying other doped athletes whilst being 100%, you have to be seriously stupid to believe this is the case.
The only level of surprise I had about VCB was
a) she got caught
b) it wasn't swept under the carpet like it does with other athletes.
And finally, to believe VCB is a user, but Felix and the rest of the girl are not........you have to be seriously naïve, this is what it takes to get a medal at top level track and field, you can either accept it's a part of the sport and enjoy it, or delude yourself.
I may have mistakenly implied that AF is 100% clean. I believe they are all on something. BUT I just don't follow the logic of accusing some while others are praised. My point about Bolt stems from reading comments from Jamaican posters that the USA is ped capital while little Jamaica is clean as a whistle. I read one post that used Flojo as proof ! The argument was she was a relative novice at 100 meters and absolutely destroyed the WR. It makes me laugh that these people see absolutely No parallel with Bolt.
lots of people here are stoned out of their minds
for example they believe that a couple of clean guys from ethiopia somehow destroyed every EPO fueled ped user that crossed their path for 20 years
it don't happen like that
maybe VCB will open a few peoples eyes
How many? Give us a number.
Was Cathal Lombard not doped out of his mind? Did you need to be on drugs to run faster than he did?
Maybe you'll understand that the days of sweeping these under the rug have come and gone. The fox no longer guards the hen house.
