PS. I am actually starting to see that there are more than 2 aliases on this thread for RD. Very sad! Not only daily BS running, but three-fold or more.
OK, until tomorrow then..........

1200s and 100s during illness and injury, eh? :) Am I really the only person on this thread who sees daily BS? What if some young runners BELIEVE this, and the 2:03 800s off 45sec rest? Will there be a possibility that some try to emulate the great Running Dogg?
That's why I still bother.
A careful read clearly indicates the 1200s were done post-illness and post-injury.
I see no mention of 100s.
I see no mention of 800s.
Your reading comprehension skills are assessed at the primary school level.
I meant 1000s, not 100s. So that makes it even worse, right? :)
And you know about the 2:03 800s in part 1, and the REAL, inerest that generated.
That's my only fear here, Andrew. Otherwise, it's a laugh. However, some young lurkers may think you are the real deal. Do you see any problems with that?
Oh, I know, "who's Andrew" and all that.
OK I'm going running now. HONESTLY!!! :) Real running. No BS!

What RD has told us lately:
Oct 6 = 4x1000m at 3k pace after some ilness and injury.
Oct 7-12 = easy track and road sessions.
Oct 13 = 7x1000m at 105% vVO2max, equal rest.
Oct 14 = 100min easy.
Oct 15 = 6x1200m at 102% vVO2max, equal rest.
Does anyone have any questions or comments for RD? :)
Cheers

1) A typo - 100s vs. 1000s - is forgivable.
2) I still see no mention of any 2:03 800s. Please provide a link if you expect us to believe you are anything other than a troll.
3) I also see no posts by anyone named Andrew.
Barring a clarificiation for #2 and #3 above, I must currently reassess your reading comprehension at pre-primary level.
...i wonder who reading is fundamental is ;)) i remember the 2;03s too. stopped paying attention ages ago. you should too skuja. not like hundreds of kids are paying attention.
Today...a 'BS' :) run, short but felt it's so nice and the forecast is for a killer wind tomorrow...after yestarday...today was a day to get out to do something (normally slot Wed's as an off day)...anyhow, 13:47.
AHR 136 MHR 150.
track: 4000m in 15:30
Then 8x400m in 1:24 with a 1 minute rest
Major workout day:
Donated blood last PM.
Mowed lawn, raked leaves for 2+ hours. {push mower over 9/10 acre of property...good resistance workout)
48:00 run (HR 132-155), had a challenging time keeping the HR under control. Ran on different streets and routes, no idea how far, this was just a run for time. Warm day.
30:00 on exercise bike to wind the day up.
Tired, but pleased.
I ain't dead by a long shot!
:D
A very enjoyable 45 minutes today (no work).
...so this summer my heavy 150cc scooter dies on the way back from the beach, at least 10K (have to measure exact distance) away from home. So i parked it at a friends house nearby for the whole summer.
Today i took the bus and went to get it.
i Pushed it back to the mechanic shop near my home.
It took 1hr54mins on mildly hilly roads. totally shagged and somewhat cramped from holding the handle bars and running/walking very asymetrically.
i suppose this is a running day of sorts. i saved 250 euros that i was quoted to go pick it up with a truck and a couple of brawny guys.
Talk about running for money...
There's something to be said for SOME alternative workouts.
Injured still (again). Going to ride my bike for a couple of hours. :(
Windy day. Ran for 37:27. AHR 142 MHR 150.
Walked dog after telephone report from veterinarian, then 30:00 on the bike. Easy day after yesterday.
Is your dog going to be okay?
last 2 days
am 5 miles (inc 5K threshold)
pm 8 miles easy
Great job by everybody! (Well, almost everybody.) I love reading about the alternative training methods some of you are using. :)
We took a day off yesterday just as a precautionary measure. I'm still feeling good and ready for more. Coach said we'd give things a bit of a nudge today. (I think she was talking about my workout. wink, wink, nudge, nudge) I'll report back later this PM.
Keep up the good work!
35 minutes, easy pace, testing the hip
He seems fine. It is, I am 'told', a Gall bladder issue.
(I didn't know dogs had gall bladders.) Some blood test during his annual check up showed some oddball high scores 2-3 months ago. His scores have been dropping back toward normal levels on their own, but they were trying to talk me into a ~$500+ ULTRASOUND on him.
Ouch.
I changed his food and have been walking him since the weather got cooler. He seems as annoyingly peppy and nosy as ever... he's a ten year old West Highland Terrier.
I am getting another blood test for him next month. That gives me a chance to get some more money in the bank before they try to sick this ULTRASOUND thing on me again.
