Going to be shocked if the team is anybody other than Hocker, Nuguse, and Kessler at this point.

Engels last in with a 3:35.08 closing in 54.63. Great depth.
I had a feeling Sahlman might blow up. he ran a hard race the other day and at his age its tough to come back so quickly. same thing happened at NCAA finals a few weeks ago. great experience for him though. bright future.
Certainly seems like it's one of the big 3s spots to lose. Definitely a class above
Damn what happened to Sahlman :/
Nuguse, Kessler, Wynne, Green, and Cook top 5 all in 3:34. Ciattei and Engels get the two non automatic spots with 3:34 high and 3:35 meaning Prakel and Houser will miss the final

Exactly. He should have been calling all 7 of them as through before they even crossed the line as it was obvious that the 2nd heat was much faster.
According to Kara, the goose is evolving😁
Mighty Porn Stache makes it on time👍
Just like I said on yesterday’s thread, I’m so glad Craig made it to the final.
realistically though Hocker Nuguse Kessler are going to be hard to beat. All in great form

Yeah pretty brutal. It should probably be no time qualifiers right to mimic the Olympics?
Sahlman fell apart last few weeks of the season. Bummer, but he still so young he will be alright.
Feel like Kessler is gonna have to make a tactical blunder to not make the team Monday
At first I didn't think it was a great move for him to go for both, but - now, at least - Holt is still in the 800
Tied the meet record. I think we’ll get a 3:32-3:33 in the final

He was asking if Kate Grace was top 6 yesterday and was like “it’s hard to tell.” No it wasn’t, she was clearly in 4th if you were actually watching, which I’m not sure Leigh actually is. He’s so bad. Just put Swangard in. He’s at least tolerable. Or drop Tirico an extra million to take on play-by-play for track and field through the Olympics.
thought kessler was gonna f it up in the first 400 when it started getting chippy again. looks like he learned his lesson, pushed clear of trouble, and tucked in behind naguse. the fittest guys ran a smart race. glad to see engels sneaking in on time. it'll be naguse, kessler, and hocker if it's a sub 3:32 race. if it's not a sub 3:32 than those 3 only have themselves to blame if they get left out.
Cook PR’d by 3 seconds. 3:37 to 3:34
Yared Nuguse is getting on that podium in Paris
Will have to wait till the final to make a call about this, but Hobbs has had great tactics in his 2 prelims. Nice that he's been able to look to nuguse, but he was doing some very slight lane adjustments to defend his position coming around the curves and stayed off the rail when he needed to. Very impressive race awareness and he has arguably had the best tactics of any man in this 1500 so far.

Teare is the only other person with the standard. Unless the final is fast it's pretty much guaranteed to be those 3
Sometimes it seems like Cooper Teare is not that good BUT…
