Everything you write here is completely wrong and contrary to available facts.
You and likeminded negativists have convinced each other that Jakob has inferior speed compared to other top milers.
I will say that Jakob in 2023 clearly was the fastest finisher of all which can easily be
proven by FACTS.
OSLO DIAMOND LEAGUE 1500m 2023:
Jakob took over the pacing “duty” just after the 1000m mark and was followed by all active top milers, including Kerr. Between 1300m and 1400m Jakob started to gap the field except for Katir. In the last 100m Jakob ran away from everyone beating Katir with just under 1 second and most of the other with from a little over 1 second and up.
Kerr - who is supposed to be a superior finisher - was 2.12 sec (3:30.07 - 3:27.95) behind
Jakob and about 1 second behind most of the other top guns. You could say that Kerr
was not at his best in Oslo and that is true. He was 0.69 sec away from his season best set in the Budapest 1500m final. BUT Jakob was 0.81 sec behind his SB 3:27.14 set in Silesia so Jakob was undeniable finishing MUCH faster than Kerr (and all the other).
By the way: You and other negativists like to claim that Jakob only can win paced races as if
Jakob has an advantage to the other runners in such races. In your blind angle, however, is the fact that Jakob gets pace for about 1000m whereas the rest of the field gets pace from start to finish.
This is particular easy to see in the Lausanne Diamond league 1500m in 2023 where Kerr was sitting on Jakob´s back the whole race until Jakob was running away in the last 100m
beating Kerr with 0.92 sec (3:29.64 – 3:28.72). Kerr was even outsprinted by steeplechaser
Girma on the last meters. This time Kerr was only 0.26 sec from his season best whereas Jakob was 1.58 away from his SB (he reportedly trained through this meeting).
So how can you and many others claim that Kerr or any other top miler is superior to Jakob speedwise?
It was exactly Jakob who accelerated and kicked the fastest in these 2 DL races where most of his competitors either ran their SB or close (Kerr).
BUDAPEST 1500M FINAL:
Kerr won not because of superior speed but because Jakob paced the field from around the
500m mark AND MORE IMPORTANTLY BECAUSE HE WAS 2.51 (3:29.65 – 3:27.14) AWAY
FROM HIS SB. Whereas Kerr ran his SB and therefore won (but only with a rather narrow margin of 0.27 sec).
Finally: Can you identify the “handful” of top runners who have superior kick to Jakob?
Are you man enough to address the above mentioned fact based arguments?
By the way: Do you think Tim has promised Jakob to pace him in the 2021 Tokyo 1500m final?
I know it might be painful for you to rewatch but here are videos from the Oslo and Lausanne DL 1500 meters from 2023:
