Dude, you are so wrong! The Mile High Running Camp was Newbury Park, founded by Martin Maciel. Even the FB page shows pictures of the NP kids from 2012. So, somehow, before the Bosnans new anyone at NP, the NP team was going to their camp?
The Brosnan’s run that Facebook page and it has nothing to do with the previous NP coach. Sean and Tanya Brosnan invested in Big Bear years ago and started the camp in 2012. It’s amazing how wrong people are here. The previous NP team went to Mammoth Lakes and never went to Big Bear.
His wife is from the backside of the hill to go up to Big Bear in Hesperia and ran on their successful teams years ago. They also went up to Big Bear to train if I recall. That is her 'hood.

This is correct. Martin (Marty) Maciel went to Mammoth Lake with Newbury Park HS. When Sean Brosnan took over he just used his LCC to run their summer camps though NP. No one from NP has ever had anything to do with Mile High Running Camp until Brosnan took over. Sean and his wife owned MIle High Running Camp since 2012.

HAHAHAHA. You are completely making that up. I have a kid that was on the team and graduated before Brosnan showed up. They went to Big Bear all four years of their high school career and never went to Mammoth. Those pictures on the FB page from 2012 are my kid's teammates and friends on the NP cross country team.

The Newbury Park Team only went to Mammoth before Brosnan was the coach. Mile High Running Camp was founded and started by Sean and Tanya Brosnan in 2012. It had nothing to do with Newbury Park. The Facebook page pictures was their first year in 2012. The previous coaches ran their summer training through Kenyon Trining DBA. That was the previous coaches business. Once Brosnan took over he just incorporated Mile High Running Camp business. Brosnan has been running camps through Mile High Running Camp since 2012. No one else ever owned mile high running camp except the Brosnan’s
Its not hard to lookup that the LLC wasnt founded until 2017
They owned the running camp before 2017. The LLC was added for legal protection.
How are all these random people so versed in the interworking of the ownership steps and timelines of the Brosnan's legal filings? This is such a classic example of Brosnan being obsessed with the message boards and posting under a bunch of different names and then complaining about the "anonymous message board haters".

Maybe you should look in the mirror?
Maybe I should. Nice deflection. Again, right out of the Brosnan response play book.

You’re able to look up when a business started. And there have been athletes who attended Camp. This makes for actual education. I think it’s creepy people are posting about someone’s Instagram or looking a pictures on Facebook and pretending to have knowledge.

The people that spend their time worrying about when he started a camp are missing something. You won’t usually find someone who is mature, confident, and accomplished insulting others. They are secure in themselves, and have no need to put others down.

This rose-tree is not made to bear The violet blue, nor lily fair, Nor the sweet mignionet: And if this tree were discontent, Or wished to change its natural bent, It all in vain would fret.

Dude your brain is messed up. I am not Brosnan, just a random guy who know enough about legal definitions to spot your BS. dna is a registered account & your anonymous.
Fun fact - Brosnan and Rankin were roommates and trained together in the Bay Area at one point. Brosnan is atypical and not a run-of-the-mill kind of guy. Some may think his vagabond lifestyle was odd. However, he spent time with many different top coaches. He lived in Colorado, California, NC, Eugene and Portland for a number of years. He got close with certain Nike coaches and obviously gained tons of knowledge. I remember him doing some crazy workouts as an athlete when he worked with Scott Simmons in North Carolina. When I asked him about this he told me he would never train an athletes as he trained himself. My point is not everyone learns by becoming a grad assistant at FSU, driving a van and holding a watch. I’m not saying you can not learn to coach that way. I’m saying Brosnan took the path right for him. We tend to criticize what we don’t know. We do know Brosnan gets very good results with his coaching. No one said you have to be a fan or like dude. Brosnan is obviously well connected at Nike and with that people criticize and call him a Nike shill. When will the insanity end. I’m personally excited to see where Brosnan ends up. Maybe back in the NCAA or maybe with some kind of pro group. Either way, no need to hate. Life if too short for all this negativity.

Well said. To many shallow minded people who think he only had two sets of families, but I'm more impressed with the runners from other families he developed. Appleford, Aschbrenner, Canu, Goldstein, Doshi. And the national record set by the girls 4 X 1600m. But to some none of them existed or there is some silly excuse why they ran well.

I love this post. I forgot about Rankin. He was a stud running 3:35 before the magic shoes
