Brooke Anderson wins hammer over Deanna Price. Price in 4th but will still qualify as the defending champion. Gwen Berry does not make Team USA, which will probably make some people happy after her National Anthem protest at the Trials in 2020.

Third heat runs on pure hate to knock Hocker out!
Because they have to worry about getting in, not keeping Hocker out. When everyone is so close in ability, leading is taking a big risk......like Hocker.
Honestly, with the way he closed today, there's no way he was going to make the team even if he did squeak through.
That last heat all owe the Princeton kid a few cold beers. It took a college runner to have the awareness to go run fast.
Only four 1,500 runners with the standard in the final. Nuguse, Teare, Gregorek, and Wynne. Your team is 3 out of those 4.
Heymach now in Brooks beast
Wow, these 1500m heats gave me anxiety lol--in a good way, they were thrilling.
It's a bummer to see David Ribich just never pull it together.
It's also a bummer to see Drew Hunter just never pull it together. I missed the finish up front in that final heat because I was watching Hunter close super hard over the last lap. He went from way out the back to right outside of the top 6. I still have faith that some day he'll make a comeback.
Sam Ellis killed off Hocker. Boy, thanks Sam….
St. Pierre running like the cows need milking
I've been saying this since last year...Hocker is just what Wheating would be in super spikes. Tons of potential but these guys burn bright and quickly.
It’s really interesting how the event has changed over the years. Gregorek was a hot name for a while, fell off and now is beating guys younger guys.
Lols. An Elise Cranny DNS. Is she actually racing these championships (5k now) or just taking spots away from other runners with scratches?
Josh Thompson was going plenty fast
reminded how stupid the rounding rules are that .512 goes to .52. Does anyone have El Gs 1500 record to the thousandth? Sub 3:26?
Gregorek is actually just really consistent. If there are enough talented runners, he misses out. If there aren’t, he’s in good shape.
Teare is the only one that I think can medal internationally, and I’ve thought that for awhile. 1,500 is his race and I think he realizes it now.
Announcer misgendered Hiltz.
Cranny scratches from the 1500. She probably never planned to run it anyway but it still makes me wonder if she’ll even show for the 5k.

This can’t be “The world’s newest greatest kicker” faded.
